Please do not buy these types of monitor arms. The arms are very weak and do not go up and down. Even with 8kg on them they will sag. I don't think that the post is strong enough if you have a monitor fully extended on the arm. The post can lean and it doesn't look good and doesn't feel sturdy.
I would rather have 2 gas lift arms instead of a dual set up as most people have recommended in the past. You can get the laptop tray for cheapish from kogan which is what I have done in the past. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

    • These are fine if you use them as shown in the photo. I agree definitely not good for using with a monitor at full extension, however is fine to hold a light laptop at extension and a monitor centrally positioned on the pole (not out to the right, left or forward)

      • Considering attaching an ultrawide monitor to this. Would it face sagging issues as Brewer mentioned?

        • You will definitely face that issue unless your monitor is light. An issue with larger monitors is that you are forced to spread the arms wide apart if you want to fit a laptop at the same time which only makes the issue worse

    • I received this today and completed the setup. After connecting the laptop to one arm, it feels very sturdy and robust. Even without the weight balancing.

      • Will you connect a monitor to the other arm? If you do, I think that's where your problems will start. The laptop alone should be ok since it's quite light, but once you add a monitor, I think you'll run into the issue I talked about

  • Bought similar "Tavice" dual arm monitor.
Snapped on set up. Username Male karen. Posted up pictures showing the metal splitting.

    Monitors weren't even mounted yet.
