      I clicked on the "price found cheaper elsewhere" option in the CS section of the app and then just explained that the price had fallen even before receieving the item (which is true) and would like to request a refund of the difference in price.

        Wasn't able to get a partial refund, but they said they would do a full refund of the original and to pre order at the new price and then refuse delivery of the original once it came, hopefully this method works out without any extra charges.

          @hotlemonaids: yeah i had the same experience before and they told me to do that (refuse the delivery).
          but sadly someone at my house accepted it, so they just told me to return it manually - free of charge of course.
          dont worry just refuse. Bezoz is too rich to charge you for this small thing

  hmm very nice design but why a lot more expensive than the average deals that have been posted here recently? (at around $22-30, all are RG 1/144)

    Because this is the newest iteration of RG and costs 4620 yen, so it converts to about $48. Over here in hobby shops, I believe they wont start any cheaper than $58-59.

    Those cheaper RGs are older RGs which they probably doing sale on there in JP
