      Also included with Game Pass.

The only problem with Gamepass is that it costs money every month to keep playing it. And the publisher can just pull the game from Gamepass at any moment meaning it's now unplayable.

Gamepass costs more for one month then what this game is going for.

With this there's no chance of being left unplayable because you actually own the right to play it indefinitely.

"The only problem with Gamepass is that it costs money every month to keep playing it"

So, to solve this problem, gamepass should be free? 😆

@Dienk: No. The problem is specifically in relation to comparing an $8 outright purchase of a game to a subscription service. If you're going to play it, it's arguably much better value to buy and own it. Especially as it would still count as a trade in later.

@bdo207: Yes that's what I mean it's better to buy this outright. You can even come back to it years later whereas it may not still be on Gamepass at the time.

Considering how popular the ~$60-70 deals for 3 years of Game Pass were here I just wanted to point out that the game is on there as many would already have access to it.

I'm not saying people should sign up to Game Pass just to play this game.

GP is a good way to test out a game and if you like it then you can choose to buy it before it leaves GP

        • My problem with gamepass is this as well. Made me never want to start a long game. Wasn't worth having to buy the game once it left. They could make this MUCH better by advertising the gamepass leave date at all times.

Also every time games are played through it, Microsoft leans even more on it. Further pushing away physical media and leaving behind the second hand market. You can see it in their recent UI redesign. Gamepass is priority #1. Recently sold my Xbox because of it. Been cutting down on reoccurring payments to crap I don't and never will own. I'm done with subscriptions. Literally burning money.

    • Yeah, I checked some locations for stock, not much around and also $5.95 delivery.

Not much of a resale value on FB etc

    • even for people with Xbox Series X it's a solid savings option, done that on a few occasions

  • I really like the humor in this game.
