I was finding a good nexus deal, by chance I found Kogan is not charging delivery for it.

The glitch has been fixed and I just received an email from Kogan saying my order will be refunded. They are giving out a $25 voucher for my troubles.
I got an S3 for $249 on Friday! Time will tell whether they send it or I get a refund…

Its actually not adding shipping for anything. Put a One X in my cart and no shipping as well.

Galaxy S3 came with free shipping for me too. Not that I bought it but it says on the shipping item "Free Shipping Storewide"

Kogan are fast. About 3 days with tracking. But that was when I was charged $29. When they do free shipping I don't know if they still use the same service.

If anyone in WA is looking for a good and quick deal on a Nexus 7, PLE have it for $299. I called OfficeWorks on Friday and they said they would do the 5% on it which makes it $284.50. Didn't get a chance to get into the store so will be doing it on Monday. Was going to post up once i had the receipt.

One is a phone, one is a tablet. Samsung Galaxy Nexus (phone) & Asus Nexus 7 (tablet)
The Google Nexus 7 is the same as the ASUS Nexus 7.
It is a different name for the same device in this case. Google Nexus is Google's branding for the line of devices developed by Google to run stock android, which includes the Galaxy Nexus (the nexus phone) and the Asus Nexus 7 (the nexus tablet). The Galaxy Nexus is designed by Google, manufactured by Samsung (hence giving the 'galaxy' name), whereas the Asus Nexus 7 is designed by Google, but manufactured by Asus. Hopefully this clears things up.
No it doesn't. People are saying different things. And you're saying its the same thing but different name. So basically their is a $80 premium for the Google branding?
The guy who posted this deal made a mistake in the description by calling it Asus Nexus 7. No one calls it that. He meant to say Google Nexus 7, which happens to be manufactured by Asus. There is not two different models with different branding.
He is referring to the exact same tablet as GN7.
Interesting, someone posted last night that they were able to get this price and cheaper at their local Officeworks. They even uploaded their receipt. But it appears to have been deleted.

Thats because that person tried to put it up as a bargain from Officeworks. However, Price matching is not considered the bargain, since it is competition to match back to the original bargain.

I own a Kindle Keyboard and reading PDFs on it is a real pain. Is it worth getting one of these 7" tablets to serve mainly as a PDF/ebook reader? Would I be better off with a 10" tablet?
you could always convert the pdf into a kindle friendly format, i find that helps immensely
of course a tablet makes things a lot easier but i find reading on a kindle is a lot less stressful on the eyes compared to a tablet

Looks like the web glitch has been fixed. Bought the S3 this morning with free shipping. Now it's saying $19 standard shipping.

That was a good gesture on Kogan's part IMO. They didn't have to do that, but you just pocketed $25.
I got my Canon 600D for $570 and Kogan did honour my item! They sent me an email said my item has been dispatched!
Also how much was it discounted by?
It was $130 discounted from $700. Plus free shipping :P. The email said my item was dispatched and i can get a courier tracking information in the next 48 hours.
