a ton of calcium and some D3 but no K2 to go with it = higher potential for heart attack and stroke and higher bp. This appears to be a poorly considered multivitamin that will cause more harm than good. If you get this I would also get some K2 mk7 or mk4 to go with it.

This really isn't good for men at all. Consider vit e, high doses of this - esp the synthetic version which this is - are associated with prostate cancer. 10mg is considered the safe limit - this has 40mg!

      What would you recommend instead?

    • You seem to know your stuff. Could you please let us know what are some better alternatives to this mutlivitamin? I have been taking magnesium, zinc, vitamin d, collagen and occasional vitamin b, all in seperate bottles and I would love to find a good multi where I can take it all in one or two pills, instead of having 5+ different ones every day.

      • youtube is good for research. Dr Carl Berg is great at explaining things in an easily understandable way. Brad Stansfield is study based and good too. Your selection is well chosen but you want K2 mk7 or mk4 to get calcium into the right places - about 100mcg day.

    • Would love to hear your recommendations also!

  • I take an interest, but I'm no expert. I also take other things to supplement the multivitamin I take. One other thing to consider is synthetic vs non synthetic. Synthetic needs to be higher doses because they're not as bio available (harder for body to utilise). The one I found is listed below, from iherb. If you're not in a hurry iherb does sales on everything sooner or later. I always go for orders big enough to get free delivery.
