  • What about…

    "Never Say Never Again (1983)" ????

    • i don't think it was filmed by MGM

      • Dammit. I really liked that movie (the girl was hot)

    • Apparently it's not canon.

  • +1

    I'll give someone $25 for Goldeneye if they buy this.

  • +3

    When this was posted in January, it was only $116 :p

    Mine shipped last night!

    • +2

      Yes and the free shipping still existed back then.

  • Mine is already on its way!

  • I paid $115 cause I ordered it ages ago when it was super cheap. Can't wait :)

  • What region would these be then? Guess you'd need a multi-region player?

    • +1

      UK = B

      Australia = B

    • It actually appears that this set is region free :)

  • Yeh not really a deal, was posted back in January when it was free shipping. Mine dispatched last night, can't wait!

    • well…you got it for $12 cheaper 9 months ago doesn't make this deal a bad deal. but for other ozbargaines this is still a good buy at present time

      • +1

        Fair enough. Not saying its still not a good deal without the free shipping, just not a new deal. It hasn't changed price in the last 9 months, does that make it a deal? (Legitimate question. I'm unsure.)

        • Personally I think it's alright. I feel like there was a period there where the Aliens Quadrilogy was listed every 3 weeks as Amazons price fluctuated. Personally I don't mind seeing this set listed twice in nice months, especially given it's now shipping.

    • If you consider that Kmart have to include GST, that's a pretty competitive price for local stock.

  • +1

    Actually cheaper @ $148 Big W

    Starting Thursday both Kmart & Big W

    • I guess the Amazon deal is a bargain if you're OK with waiting and having international stock. Otherwise, the local retailers aren't bad.

  • Pretty good prices for local stock I must say.. Usually when I buy blurays online theres a massive difference..

    I'm talking buy online from zavvi end up paying $40 ~ for a tv box set or JB Hifi have the same set for $269!

    • I'm talking buy online from zavvi end up paying $40 ~ for a tv box set or JB Hifi have the same set for $269!

      Which boxset are you refering to? I've been collecting (hoarding?) Blu-rays since Blu-rays won the format war, but I've NEVER seen such a massive price difference on a boxset.

      • Try Heroes complete series. I paid approx 60AUD from amazon uk (was 40ish pounds). And each season used to be ~$60 at JB. $60 vs $240

        And i also bought prison break complete series for around 60AUD. At JB, season 3 ALONE is currently $99!!!

  • I was seriously impressed with the visual fidelity of Dr No on bluray and would like to get them all but… I already have the DVD "Ultimate Collection" which includes all the double DVD versions up to and including Die Another Day. I can wait… hopefully.
