anyone knows this is corded or cordless ? image suggests its corded, however description and specs state "runtime" and "batteries included"
I think that's the standard water wash one, not the steam version.
Correct - the battery version is normal vacuum + mop, whereas corded version is steam + vacuum
I believe the unit that has "steam" should be a wired/corded unit. And non-corded version should be no steam.
i dont know if i can go back to corded after using battery vacuums for nearly 10 years
Depends on whether you value the steam - you can’t have steam in an uncorded appliance. FWIW, I have stick vacuums for when I just need to vacuum and I have this steamer as a substitute for mopping (which is excellent). So each have their purpose.
will steam work on hybrid or glue down vinyl ? dont know if those like the heat
Probably not, it’s more for tiled floors.
The EUFY Mach 1 ultra can do cordless steam plus vacuuming. As far as I know it’s new on the market and first of its kind. Also, very expensive at $1.5K
How long does it run for on steam mode before the battery runs out?
I was also a cordless convert and promised would never go back to corded… however could not find anything that was cordless and steamed that worked effectively. The closest I had was the bissell cordless pro max (I think that was the name of it) but it just left streaks everywhere and had to use their own cleaning solution ($$$). Battery life wasn't great either due to the steam function.
I purchased this one during the last sale a couple of months ago and it's been an absolute gem. Just uses water, and extremely easy to use and clean. It is corded but it is worth it.

Do any of these things do standard vacuuming (carpet) in addition to mopping? Most seem to be for hard floors only so I'm left with having two devices
