Cheapest yet on Amazon for Prime Day! I am aware it has dipped as low as $94 before but that was last year unfortunately.

Good for gamers with Logitech compatible gaming mice and having long gaming sessions. Alternatively, you could look up Qi converter coin on Aliexpress for your Logitech mouse and use a cheap Qi charging mat.

My biggest hurdle for buying this was that if you are using a wireless mouse but a wired mouse pad I mean…. what is the point? lol

    • +1

      First world problem.

    • +7

You get the perks of a wireless mouse and non of the negatives like having to worry about battery life and plugging it in before bed every night.

      • Yes but I only need to charge the thing once every 1.5 weeks. I'm more in it for the aesthetics of a tidier desk. To each their own I guess.

        • +2

This isn't the product for you then. I have to charge my mouse everyday with the heavy use it sees.

          • @cheekymonkey97: Lol that is crazy, what mouse do you have? I have a G Pro X Superlight which has 70 hours battery life. I couldn't charge it every day even if I wanted to (Battery drain wise).

            • @MrMoo: G900, mine is supposedly 24 hours but usually if I don't charge it overnight it's low by the next afternoon

              • +1

@cheekymonkey97: Ahh fair enough, that is a lot lower battery time. I can see how that would be extremely annoying.

            • @MrMoo: My G pro X has an insanely ridiculous battery life.
I use it for hours a day at work and haven't charged it in weeks, I literally forget it's even required

    • Tbf the pad does share the same technology of low latency so technically speaking you can connect your compatible mouse to it without worrying about the dongles - save some USB spaces.

      • +1

Yes that is true. On a related note, this thing has been around for like 5 years or something. I'm surprised they haven't updated it or released one with RGB (Since its wired anyway) or a bigger version of it.

How often are you moving your mousepad?? How is this even a question to ponder?

    • +1

If you don’t get it you aren’t the target market in this case I feel.

I mean a wire on a desk pad that never moves that can be cable managed vs a wire on a mouse that moves constantly makes loads of sense to me

      • Yes I'm probably just the wrong target market. I'de rather just plug the mouse in for 2 hours every other week than have the cable on the table.

  • Good deal, but I was hoping for a sub-$100 price on this. Fingers crossed for Black Friday!

    • +1

I see a HODLer! Yeah honestly good on ya mate, I reckon it could dip further.

  • +1

So as an individual who's used this for around a year. I think I have my fair for me to share some of my experiences.

You might not notice it right away, but the more you use it, it is really convenient without having to worry about changing your mouse every night. You can use the adapter that comes with the mouse on a different device perhaps at work or something.

Unfortunately, I've lost the charging coin recently so I can't use it anymore :(

But I highly recommend it for people with spare disposal income.

  • +1

Yes, it is expensive for a "mouse pad" but once you have tried it, you won't go back. Such a pleasure not having to ever worry about charging your mouse. I'm about 3 or 4 years in on mine and I have absolutely zero regret. Would be super awesome if it would also charge my g915 keyboard but maybe one day.

    • Hey out of curiosity how has the cloth surface fared after all those years?

      • +1

I am not on the original anymore. I just bought a cheap regular eBay easy glide one and cut it to size.

        • Ah hah. Good idea. I don't reckon the OG would last long anyway.

          • @Grey 13: It does come with the rigid plastic mat but I didn't like it.

      • +1

how has the cloth surface fared after all those years

Can confirm that after a few years the cloth pad becomes dirty over years of daily use and not easy to clean due to the cardboard backing.

        • Can confirm that after a few years the cloth pad becomes dirty over years of daily use

Cloth becomes dirty after years of rubbing it against your body parts? Get out of town!

  • An alternative to the Powerplay mat is the Qi Module for the Logitech PowerPlay Mouse for ~$20 @ Amazon AU if you have a wireless charger already.

    • What mat would you recommend with this?

      • I have a wireless phone charger on my desk, so I just place my mouse on the charger overnight when it's low battery.

    • Reading the reviews below seems like this still needs some smoothing out. But for $20 and a cheap Qi charging mat I guess you got what you paid for.

      • Yep would be depending on your wireless chargers' strength too.

I originally used the Powerplay mat for years but it too up too much space on the desk, so I switched over the Qi Module Coin.

Nowadays, I use both a magnetic charging cable or the Qi Module Coin for the mouse. (The magnetic charging cable also doubles as a charger for my G915).

  • Owner since launch in 2017 I think. I've never looked back.

  • Will it work if I put i under my corsair mat?

    • +1

Mines under a big corsair desk mat and works great.

Only "downside" is the buldge in the top left section where the pcb/usb cable comes out from. No big deal at all

      • Pic of your desk with desk mat please

  • Just be careful of your charging coin - if you lose it, they’re not easily found to buy by themselves!

Worth every dollar though for someone like me who hates having to remember to charge your mouse or charge your Eneloops!

  • +1

i've had one for a few yrs, can echo everyones sentiments here.
Was a pure indulgence when i got it.. but I absolutely love it, still on original mat, but reckon will need to change soon.

Doesn't help clean up the desk as it's extra cables, i was tempted to drill a hole for the cable to clean it up..
