    No Darth Vader minifigure?

    • +2

Need to make space coz “somehow palpatine returned”

  • -3

why they call it a calendar when there are no dates?

    • +1

There are indeed dates. The front cover flips up

  • FWIW from a massive lego star wars fan: save for a better model. Some of these are cool but some are borderline trash. Possible exemption would be if you can be bothered gluing them and putting a string on for tree deccies

    • +1

I agree, you would barely play with the small scale cheapy spaceships; I'm not a HP fan but at least in the Harry Potter one, you get elements to have your minifigures interact with, that are of the same scale.

      • I'm curious could you give more detail on the play limitations?
Is it maybe 30 mins less zooming and zipping around than usual per figure or something more dramatic? And for the interactions is it sound effects lacking, actual dialog or just a bit of bobbing about?

    • I wouldn't glue them. Would devalue the pieces in general. Just to be clear that the Lego pieces themselves are the usual Lego quality but I do agree it is generally a rubbish set. I mean come on, there's no Darth Vader!

      • So many available NIB that I doubt you could sell them individually

        • Yah, wouldn't sell them individually either. Would just go into the box of Lego spares to reuse for other projects/builds. Gluing wouldn't allow me to do that but who glues Lego anyway?

          • @colaman: Normally I wouldn't, but previous years some of the models were fairly fragile and wouldnt survive being thrown in the deccies box lol

  • +2
    • I'd jump on a 2 for $50 deal

  • Quick question, does the Marvel one have indeed more minifigs than the other ones? In one of the preview photo, you can see Doc Strange, Black Widow, Spidey, Cap, Iron Man, 2x Wakanda people, which brings it to 7 minifigs as opposed to your usual 5.

  • +1

Can’t say no to this can I now Thanks

  • If you don't need this before xmas just wait till after Xmas. It'll be 70%+ off.

    • +1

Depends if you're willing to take the gamble. Have been caught out a couple of times, waited too long and the stock was all gone.

  • May the Force be with you as you hunt for the best bargain in the galaxy. But don’t forget, there is another… Big W.

  • Gah paid ~$35 after cashback and thought that was as good as I'd get..
