Hey Oz Bargain Community,

Another short and sweet for you. We've been sold out of our much loved Peru Single Origin since June…great news, we've just secured some more supply of our Peru and also topped up our Decaf reserves, we thought why not celebrate with a deal, so here we go :)

We're offering you a 40% discount off our delicious Peru Chanchamayo Grade 1 Single Origin and our much loved Swiss Water Process Decaf Coffee:

1) Peru Chanchamayo Grade 1 Single Origin, only $14.99 per 500g (usually $24.99 per 500g), and $26.39 per 1kg (usually $43.98 per 1kg)

2) Swiss Water Process Decaf, only $16.49 per 500g (usually $27.49 per 500g), and $29.39 per 1kg (usually $48.98 per 1kg)

Deal valid for orders placed until 22/10/2023, unless sold out before. Dispatch can happen for you as near as Monday and as far as the second last Thursday in November (23/11). Once a given dispatch date is at full capacity the green circle will be removed and date will turn red, first in best dressed :)

Some helpful info:

  • You're welcome to place multiple orders scheduled for dispatch at various dates (delayed dispatch) to make the most of this deal, we strive to dispatch our fresh coffee within 48 business hours of roasting
  • One dispatch per order
  • If you select 500g as a quantity please ensure you also select 500g as the packaging option. If 500g is selected as a quantity with 1kg as the packaging selection the product will show as "unavailable"
  • 500g bag packaging (it's resealable) is also available for orders larger than 500g this is an extra $3.60 per kg including the discount (normally $6 extra per kg) to cover the extra bag/s, label/s and time it takes to pack
  • Complimentary gift notes can be submitted via a reply message to your order confirmation email
  • The largest bag size we use is 1kg and it has a zip (it's resealable), for example if you order 4kg with 1kg packaging you will receive 4 x 1kg bags, you will not receive a single huge 4kg bag.

  • Just in time to re-stock! I normally get the moments to memories and make milk drinks - how does the Peru SO compare?

    • Morning @Shambler always love when timing works out perfectly!

Great questions. As you enjoy Moments so much I believe our Peru will be a winner for you as well. The main differences you'll notice is a bit more acidity with our Peru and more pronounced chocolate flavour notes with our Moments to Memories blend :)

    Free delivery over $69

    Nice

    • +1

      Happy that's a winner for you @MakkhiChoos :)

  • Another cracker I'm sure. Ordinarily we'd go for some of everything, but we bottomed out on the Peruvian beans so quickly last time that I've just gone for 3kg—all the freezer space we can muster!
I'll raise my hand as another fan of the frequent buyers club experiment who hopes to see some sort of return or adjacent option.

    • Woohoo for that amazing feedback and terrific order @Alcaro thank you so much, it's wonderful to hear how much you enjoy our Peru SO!!!

Raised hand duly noted, I personally enjoy roasting for our FBC Surprise Mystery Flight stops so much, I've got my fingers crossed that we'll be able to bring it back some time in the future :)

    • Wait what are you supposed to keep them in the freezer woops

  • +2

I’ve got the Brazilian batch which is about to finish. I mainly do milk lattes. Should I wait for the Brazilian beans to go on sale? What do you recommend?

    • Morning @Westpac appreciate you reaching out to check in!

Nice to hear you're enjoying our Brazil SO. If you're about to run out, you can either get more Brazil at full price (it won't be on sale before you run out) and our Peru on sale. In terms of flavour comparison you'll find our Peru has a higher acidity kick than our Brazil and more clarity of flavour, whereas our Brazil is slightly sweeter and stronger on its chocolate notes. Hope this info helps you decide :)

      • Damn it. I don’t like acidity. What about the memories blend? Would that be on sale?

        • haha @Westpac love the "damn it" opener, something about it made me laugh a bit :)

We tend to focus on one deal at a time, so aside from https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/799190 I have absolutely no clue when our next Moments deal will happen. Our Peru is just a bit more acidic than the Brazil, as a stand alone our Peru acidity level is in the medium zone, so I'd be highly surprised if you found it too acidic!

Just opened my Kenyan from the last deal so mind was starting to think where the next kg was gonna come from. And here we are. Easy.

    • +1

Hey @Miso always a win to hear about timing ending up perfect!

Thank you so much for placing another terrific order with us, it really does mean so much :)

Is this Aussie? it's a .com USD or AUD$?

    • +1

      Yes it's Aussie. It's AUD.

      • @TheVoices is spot on (appreciate the answer assist) @hamwhisperer confirming we use AUD on our site :)

  • +1

    PHEW!!
Mr. Slack Arse here totally forgot to order the Kenyan from the last deal so missed out entirely. This morning I opened the current packet to fill the grinder and there was a distressing paucity of beans, so this deal is magnificent timing. I swear, Tom must have an indicator on his wall (similar to those Fire Danger signs you see on the highway) which tells him OzBargainers are reaching critical levels of beans and gauge when to host a sale.

    • Hey @Chazzozz always bring a smile to read your messages and thank you so much for yet another order, your continued support truly means so much!

Sounds like you're playing with fire (no pun intended) letting your reserves approach the danger zone, very happy to hear we've nailed the timing again for you, let's hope our magic Oz Bargain timing clock never runs out of batteries :)

p.s. next time you feel like taking a walk on the wild side I'd highly recommend getting some of our Kenya Maguta as it's unmistakably unique and delicious in flavour!

  • 2) Swiss Water Process Decaf, only $16.49 per 500g (usually $27.49 per 500g), and $29.39 per 1kg (usually $48.98 per 1kg)

Am I missing something, SWPD coming up as $32.99?

    • Hey @Fractual node appreciate the check in!

I believe you have 1kg in 500g bags selected AKA 2x500g. On the product page if you just change the packaging to 1kg bags you instantly see the price change to $29.39 :)

  • I'd recommend picking a shipping option, and not pick "Couriers? Please". Last order I did the 'no preference' option, and it's gone with "Couriers? Please". I had taken a guess on when I would need the next batch, and turns out I'd timed it perfectly. I live in Canberra. New coffee was shipped Tuesday, and I ran out of the old stuff today (Thursday). Checked my tracking updates to see when it would get here today. The coffee left Melbourne Tuesday, and went to…. Sydney… it got there yesterday, and is now waiting to actually get sent back down to me in Canberra. ugh.

    • +1

I always get my lime blue from couriers please and get it the very next day from pickup, never had an issue with them. I am in sydney BTW

      • I've consistently had issues with Couriers Please in Canberra, across lots of different places I've bought from. Maybe it's not a big enough market here for them to bother having it as a direct route or enough drivers? They rarely ring the bell when they deliver, either. When I used to be in an apartment (that was an open complex, only 2 stories high, with no locked doors in stairwells) they would just drive up to the mailbox rack, drop a card, and leave. I'm in a house now so at least they'll safe drop.

For this order, coffee was shipped Tuesday, went up to Sydney Wednesday, went back down to Canberra Thursday, was "out for delivery" Friday at 2.47pm, arrived yesterday (Saturday) around 10am. Just checked the doorbell cam, he at least rang the bell. Video shows him literally just throwing the package on the ground though before he rang it. Classic.

        • +1

Hey @salem thank you so much for your order and feedback, it really does mean a lot to us and is not something we take for granted!

Sometimes when delivery company logistics seem a tad off it may mean your parcel has been missorted or it's an intentional move by the company. For example, in really busy times a VIC to VIC delivery sent via Australia Post may go VIC-SA-VIC which seems strange (and it is), but may be intention because VIC sorting facilities are at capacity and SA sorting facilities are undercapacity, as such Aust Post may redirect containers for sorting to undercapacity facilities even if it means a different State detour; that said it may just mean Aust Post messed up and missorted a VIC-VIC parcel…in that instance (and yours) I'd need to see the tracking info to find out for sure.

Glad the driver rang your bell this time and I know it may seem like the normal thing to do, but if you want this to happen every time you unfortunately really do need to spell it our for them in the delivery instructions you leave in the space on our cart page. Some drivers may always ring the bell and at the other end of the spectrum a driver may have been told off for ringing the bell and waking a baby, so now they don't ring bells unless the instructions say to :)

Now to the thorn in my side issue, the "throwing" of the parcel. There's no such thing as a Courier discount for practicing their basketball skills with parcels (and if there was such a discount we wouldn't opt for it), as such it's totally unacceptable. When you get a sec could you please send a reply email to your order confirmation with that footage? Throwing a parcel it something I can certainly do something about, to hopefully prevent a repeat!

          • @LimeBlueCoffee: no worries. I've sent it over in an email in reply to my confirmation for order #39649. cheers! Hopefully as a seller you'll have more luck getting a behaviour change. As a receiver, I've never had the couriers care about any complaints, regardless of how many videos I send.

            • +1

@salem: I truly appreciate you taking the time to send over the footage @salem I've replied to your email and filed a formal complaint with them about the careless dropping of the parcel, rather than simply placing it in front of your door. Whether you complain or I do it should hold the same weight, unfortunately that's not always the case and more weight is held to a complaint if it's from the person/company paying the bill rather than the receiver of a parcel. Fingers crossed there won't be a repeat drop and they'll simply take that extra tenth of a second to place the parcel on the ground :)

      • That's terrific feedback @RhythmicJAY28 always love hearing about super speedy delivery!

  • Grabbed 2 OP. But the last one i got was espresso ground and would come out watery instead of creamy brown. Do dem beans get any finer than that. Unless its the machine itself. Its a KUA machine at work so might only be tuned to take kua beans?

    CAN I PET DAT DAWGGGGGG

    • Hey @MeowMeowNiBBa appreciate you taking the time to reach out and thank you so much for another terrific order for your team!!!

Pre-ground can be a tricky one with the fast-tracked oxidation factor compared to whole beans. In terms of extraction as it's pre-ground it likely means your machine is dosing too much or too little. Feel free to send a reply email to your order confirmation detailing the exact make (don't think KUA is the manufacturer) and model, then I'll get back to you with some helpful (hopefully) tweak you can make to the extraction settings :)

  • +1

With the calendar that shows when to ship, is it possible to also highlight in another colour when you already have shipments going out?

I've unfortunately made a hash of my orders and have a surplus of beans! Would be great if this feature could be implemented.

    • +1

Hey @Scalding Coffee Cup I sincerely appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback, very helpful!

We've already been looking into adding a few new features to our unique scheduled dispatch system, once implemented they may be in a slightly different format to your suggestion, but should hopefully achieve the same desired goal.

I highly recommend putting any sealed excess coffee you have in your freezer to extend the freshness :)

  • Cheers Tom, looking forward to trying the Peruvian. Really enjoyed the Ethiopian Aricha from a couple deals ago.

    • Morning @iMagoo it's fantastic to know how much you enjoyed our Ethiopia Single Origin!

Thank you so much for placing another terrific order with us, fingers crossed you love this SO too :)

      • p.s. @iMagoo we usually keep a small amount of buffer stock of green/raw coffee incase something goes awry. Good news, I've done a quick stock take check I've found a very small amount (only 15kg) of our Ethiopia Aricha Single Origin still available. I've just posted it to our site, in case you're still keen for more, first in, best dressed :)

  • Love love love Lime Blue and Tom’s epic customer service !!

    My favourite is
    1. Sao Paolo Brazilian SO
    2. Sw decaf
    3. Moments to memory
    4. Columbia Cacau

I don’t actually know what style beans I like officially but usual go to is a campos style out at cafes. I have oat latte with a bit extra milk so the flavour isn’t too intense. I’m guessing it’s more of the chocolate tones and less acidity ??

Think I’ll unfortunately sit this deal out although have Tom to thank for expanding my coffee repetoire!

    • +1

Morning @dammit WOW what a rely wonderful vote of confidences to see, big smile on this side of this screen, thank you so much!!!

Nice list, I think you've hit the nail on the head with your go to preference characteristics, looks like you favour low to medium acidity and very chocolate to chocolate with some fruity secondary notes.

Always good to try new coffee and discover what types you enjoy, looking forward to seeing more orders from you in the future :)

  • Any idea if or when you will get more Ethiopia Aricha Grade 1 Single Origin. I think these are favourite ever beans.

    • Hey @Smilesy WOW that's so wonderful to hear our Ethiopia Aricha are your favourite!!!

I wish I could get you a definitive answer, but we actually purchased the last of this in Australia when it was on our site and I'm not sure if/when there'll be more imported. Fingers crossed more gets imported in the future :)

      • p.s. @Smilesy always better to ask than wonder… we usually keep a small amount of buffer stock of green/raw coffee incase something goes awry. Good news, I've done a quick stock take check I've found a very small amount (only 15kg) of our Ethiopia Aricha Single Origin still available. I've just posted it to our site, in case you're still keen for more, first in, best dressed :)

+1 asking for another Ethiopia deal since I missed it, and I can't believe you sell them so cheap compared to other companies selling them for $40+

    • Hey @soggypotato sincerely appreciate the extra +1 and your feedback!

Very happy to the price for our delicious Ethiopia Aricha is a winner for you, fingers crossed the timing works out perfectly next time one of our products ticks your price/flavour/origin boxes :)

      • p.s. @soggypotato squeaky wheel gets the oil, looks like your +1 comment is paying dividends… we usually keep a small amount of buffer stock of green/raw coffee incase something goes awry. Good news, I've done a quick stock take check I've found a very small amount (only 15kg) of our Ethiopia Aricha Single Origin still available. I've just posted it to our site, in case you're still keen for more, first in, best dressed, fingers crossed second time's the charm for you :)

    • Back in stock just ordered 1kg

      • Fantastic to hear you snapped one of the last remaining 1kg of our Ethiopia Aricha, thank you so much @deal-sniper !

Literally only 1kg still available now, wonder who'll be the lucky one to secure it before we're completely sold out :)

  • Ordered again, picked up a kg. Just finishing 2kg of the Columbian from a previous deal. Great job as always team

    • Fantastic, thank you so much for another terrific order @tnarg it really does mean so much!

I'm very happy to hear we're in your good books, we'll keep working hard to stay there, sincerely appreciate your compliment :)

  • Couldn't help myself. Ordered 1 kilo shipping now, another delayed as far out as possible to get me through the silly season.

    Looking forward to it!

    • Woohoo love the "couldn't help myself" comment and you're planning ahead skills to ensure you don't run out of the good stuff!!!

Thank you so much for another terrific order, it truly does mean so much :)

  • Discovered Lime Blue coffee several years back and has been my go to since then. The decaf in particular is a gamechanger. I've converted a bunch of people at work as from a flavour perspective (particularly with flat whites) it is almost impossible to tell the difference between it and its caffeinated sibling. The quality decaf has also opened up options for more coffee flavoured things in the evenings such as strong tiramisu, espresso martinis and the really delicious cocktail with espresso and Licor 43. Well played Lime Blue!

    • WOW WOW WOW @Aspanick what a truly wonderful vote of confidence, thank you so much, you've brought a big smile on this side of the screen :)

I'm absolutely wrapped to know how much you've been enjoying our unique Decaf and that it's been opening up a lot of other delicious ways to enjoy our coffee. Your spruiking skills to help spread the word about Lime Blue Coffee sincerely means so much and I'm sure it's having a positive impact for us. I've very happy we're in your good books, we'll keep working hard to stay there!

p.s. I've had Licor 43 and espresso, but never in the same drink, I've put that combo on my to try list :)

  • Basic question but what's the difference between the various Acidities?

I'm guessing the Mandarin for Peru Chanchamayo means that it'll be a bit more sour/tart vs the Milk Chocolate of the Brazil São Paulo?

    • Hey @lolcoaster always better to ask that wonder!

You're 100% spot on, great instincts, our Peru has a slightly higher acidity kick than our Brazil. As you've noticed from our description we think it has a similar acidity level to that of a Mandarin AKA on the lower side of medium :)
