FYI - The orange diver has non-standard lugs so you're basically stuck with the rubber strap. But it's a cool looking 200m solar dive watch with a screw down crown for $229.

InB4 someone says they don't like it.

      I like it

You need big wrists though, it's 47mm.

    • the non std strap is why i haven’t bought one, if it std lugs and strap i’d hit they buy button as i love orange dive watches.

      • Yeah it's bizarre why they do this.

    • I had this watch and loved the look of it but you have to literally cut the rubber strap to make it smaller so there's no going back if you need to make it bigger.

I googled for ages to try and figure out the band but couldn't find replacements anywhere. I returned the watch without even wearing it

Love the colour combo of this BN0162-02X

I love it too, but I love it more here:

Pretty weak weekend sale overall. I already have the Bulova Pilot, an Aqualand, the Bullhead and 4 Arnies.

Yeah but do you have a Steeldive SD1970 or a Skmei?

      • +1

keep hoping they will do the arnie dive with stainless steel band for better than $599.

        • I was hoping this sale would have better deals, but it's all the same shit. The PADI Arnie is ok, but not for that price

Ohhhh Citizen Aqualand JP2000-08E… been having my eyes on this one for quite some time, but, apart from being a classic since the 80s I still not fully convinced (yet) to pay $349 on a Quartz watch! Any thoughts? Hehe

    • +1

If quite some time is over 6-12 months, you need to get it. If you'd have worn it twice a week for 12 months it'd cost you $3.50 a day. Here's the kicker - if you earned more than $3.50 a day for more than 2 days a week, you'd be winning. I'd say it's time to get it and a be a winner.

Ok you convinced me lol 😂… got it !!
        Thanks @mit

You won't regret it. It's such a psychological trap to buy or (not buy) things because of what other people think. The more you learn to buy things because YOU appreciate it the more you'll enjoy life.

Side thought. You resparked my interest in the bulova precisionist line. If you think you're overpaying for a quartz watch have a look at those. The gliding seconds cannot be overlooked.

          • @mit: Yep that's what I thought and also I have a bit of history with this watch, where I saw 2 of them in my family in the early 90's. So yeah you're right, life's short so let's enjoy it.

Wow this is a bit expensive, however, just looking at the watches you can see the amount of work they've done to create these masterpieces. A very precise Quartz watch!! Gotta love it.
