[VIC] Verve USB Powered Monitor Screen LED Lamp (Model: ATL2028) $5.00 (Was $28.84) @ Bunnings Fountain Gate VIC (in-Store Only)

160

Same product as this deal listed by @loku123 but it's available at Bunnings Fountain Gate (VIC) for $5.00 - Not sure why 2 different stores have 2 different prices at the same time but I'm sure there's a valid reason. Was $28.84 according to the ticket.

Plenty of stock as you can see.

I bought it to give it a go to use as a hallway light, and because I needed a USB-C Cable anyways so I figured worst case scenario I end up with a 1.5m USB-C Charging Cable for $5 so ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Build quality is actually surprisingly good, especially for $5.00. Brightness isn't bad either, but the dimming is a little finicky (per se) but once you work it out you can adjust it accordingly… In saying that though it's not worth $28.84 (Existing price), maybe if it was a rechargeable version or was able to take AA or AAA batteries.

The specs on the box are as follows:

  • 1.5m USB-C Cable Included
  • Touch Control, Select LED Colour Temperature & Brightness
  • Adjustable Bracket
  • Light Fitting: 4w Intergrated LED
  • Compatibility: Curved Screen Adapter Included
  • Colour Temperature: 2700k - 6500k, switch between 3 Colours (Warm White, Cool White and Daylight)

Gives me a reason to go for a short ride tomorrow! Thanks! Did you remember roughly which isle?

    • +2

Can't remember what isle #, but head towards the back right hand side of the store 😊 It's about the middle of the isle.

        Thank you!

Just went past! It's in the first electrical isle, so like, around isle 36 - 37.

Only 2 left in that top box, opened the bottom one and there was 12 left in that one, put them all in the top box so others could see it and see how many left. After I grabbed 4, there should have been 10 lights left. Had an issue at the counter though, they all scanned at 15, even though 1 box had a $5 sticker on it. Checkout dude was like, so only that one is $5. I was like, wtf there's a giant yellow tag on the whole box and told the kid I'm happy to wait if he wanted to check the isles near 36 and he was like, don't worry and ammended all of them in checkout.

Hopefully they'll look sweet at the top of each of my new garage shelves. Thanks again OP!

Haha that's funny considering they ALL have the $5 yellow tag where the barcode is, your checkout person probably had a blonde moment or something lol. Should actually go well in your garage, I'm quite happy with mine :)

Since there was only 10 left at the time of your departure I'll expire the deal so no one goes there in the hopes of grabbing one and gets disappointed. Chances are that there are none left now anyways.

Do a price beat with another Bunnings :D

  • Must be as per store manager's direction, clear out the stock asap

  • I bought one of these for $15 from an "aisle bucket" yesterday - this was at Oakleigh.

The bucket was in the middle open space, between the front set of aisle and the back ones. As you walk into the main entrance the bin/bucket of them was in the right half of the centre aisle already meantioned.

Ty OP, got one - it was at the back near the toilets if you follow all the way down aisle 22 it's there - maybe aisle 36?

    • I'm thinking maybe Isle 34 or 35 because it was in the Lighting Section where all of the various ceiling and wall lights were.

Was there many left @TofuTaicho? I might auto-expire this deal by the end of the weekend as I have absolutely no way of knowing how many is left in real-time as it's not on their site and the I/N number doesn't work with the stock checkers.

At least another 5, but I assumed the box it was sitting on was another box of them

I'm going to expire this deal momentarily based on @WasBargain saying there was only 10 left around 5:30ish. Probably safe to assume that there isn't any left now so I'd rather avoid anyone going out of their way to then be disappointed but if you happen to be going to that Bunnings anyways then perhaps give it a go.
