    note you can use your gift cards and then front some remainder of the cost with your westpac card. no, you cannot pay with westpac if you dont have a gift card < the cost of your cart.

    What’s the deal with the not tracking if you’ve wishlisted an item? Does that mean if I’ve wishlisted it when browsing and then like a week later go and buy now it won’t be eligible? That seems like a weird exclusion…

    I can see maybe tracking being weird if you add it off your wish list direct or add it during checkout but if you buy it from the store page it seems strange to exclude.

      The tracking system works based on referrals. The idea is SB gets a kickback if they baited you into buying something you otherwise wouldn't. If its on your wishlist ebay knows you were planning on buying it anyway so there is no reason for them to offer the referral CB.

      Just delete it off your wishlist, open a new tab/the SB app & find it in search/recently viewed items & it will work. Has for me previously.

        Thanks for explaining. For me that doesn’t work as I only really buy stuff when there is a CB deal - I use the Wishlist to keep track of
        What I will buy when SB bait me into buying something with a deal. Anyway good to know I need to find another way of tracking things!

    Which type of Westpac card/account do you guys use to take advantage this sort of cashback deal.

    I don't bank with Westpac and seems like they charges account keeping fees too.

      Westpac Choice works, you get a digital card right away. There's a $5 monthly fee (for most) but a $2000 monthly deposit waives it, the funds don't need to stay.

      The basic transaction account works fine. Deposit $2000 per month to waive the $5 transaction fee. You can move it in and out immediately with PayID.

    Didn't track cashback last time. I was using Shopback exclusively before and now just can't trust them. No response when emailed or missing cashback request submitted.

      I've literally never had a problem when using the Android app, $1.8k of cashback over lifetime. The one time a cashback tracked incorrectly was when I made an eBay purchase right before the time cut off on a bonus, such that the payment was actually processed a couple minutes after the cut off. Contacted Shopback and they promptly fixed it.

      If you follow some simple techniques to ensure that Shopback get the cookie tracking, then it's dead simple. I ensure all transactions go via Shopback in-app browser so that there is a sandbox that assures the transaction is correctly attributed to Shopback. If I ever feel as though I've potentially ruined the tracking (accidentally clicking an ad or whatever), I'll completely clear my cart, close the app and start from scratch.

      It's not hard..

    OCT15 (for non-eBay Plus members) or OCT17 (for eBay Plus members) may be used for 15%/17% off for certain eBay items. May be useful if you're not Westpac cardholder.
