    • +1

      Yeah, differences seem to be:

Rated to 2500 kPa with a 8/10 kink resistance. UV stabilised for long life with a 20 year warranty
      vs
Rated to 3000 kPa with a 9/10 kink resistance. UV stabilised for long life with a 25 year warranty

  • Already have too many hoses. Cannot buy anymore!

    • +1

        • +5

Ahhh… almost gonna order but realized already have 2

  • +4

Free delivery with Onepass, thanks OP, grabbed two.

    • +3

Bunnings very selective where onepass can be used.

  • Can i buy two 15m hoses and comnect them ?

    • +2

      Thats what i did.
The hose has the attachment pre installed as per pic

    • +1

Sure, but a decent connector will cost nearly as much as the hose

      • +3

        Attachments are included

      • +5

        Brass all the way

    Link no longer works?

    • Try powerpass

      • +1

yes, only works on powerpass app

    • +1

      It slipped on a snag

  • If it helps anyone, I noticed when I went back to Bunnings later to search for something else, under "Recently viewed" was the hose and that will now work. Weird 🤪

  • +1

Get a hose link. Buy once cry once.

    • +1

20 years warranty. Keep reciept or buy on powerpass. Swap to new model when it starts kinking or leaking no questions asked from bunnings .

      • This. Ease of Bunnings returns / warranty claims is a huge factor for me in these kinds of products

  • could have done with 20 m length, but for this price…

  • +1

Link works for me. Can use a joiner to connect 2 of them. https://www.bunnings.com.au/gardena-13mm-hose-joiner-repaire…

    • The fitting included will do just fine. I have cheap click fittings on my old hose and never had an issue

    • +1

depending on how flexible the hose is, sometimes it's tricky using these. I have the Aldi ones which I love, never kinked in the ~8 years I've had them, faded in the sun but won't kink. But they're really soft / flexible so jamming them into a joiner is a lot harder than a regular hose.

Not impossible, just harder. Don't know if these hoses are like the Aldi ones though.

  • Thanks OP…bought 2 plus joiner.

    • Which joiner do you get ?

      • The standard Gardena plastic one to suit 13mm hose…it was a pop up when purchasing…like do you want frys with that and doh I like frys.

        • Thanks. The Joiner or Coupling?

  • Thanks, bought 2

  • Do I have to convert everything form the standard 12mm?

    • yes

    • No

    • Maybe

    • Ask again later

  • not a kinky hose

  • Thanks op, picked one up in store..the price was showing as full RRP but scanned at the discounted price. Can confirm these are super hardy, had mine out in the sun for 7 years and still going strong and buying to replace a hose that had split in the same conditions which was a different brand.

  • Thanks OP .. got one as well

  • Whats a good item to mount / store this hose ?

  • None at the local store and they want to charge delivery for a onepass customer. Would have liked but have to pass.

  • +3

Tip to avoid hose from kinking - keep pressure inside the hose. This is best done with a trigger spray. Then reel it in and turn off the tap. If you don't have a hose reel, learn the over-under coiling method.

    • +2

This hose also works well with the store it as a giant tumbled heap method, provided you heap and un-heap it when pressurised.

Also responds well to the old grab it by the sprayer and crack it like a whip to remove kinks if you do manage to put a twist in.

  • Just a couple of metres too short for me.

  • good deal. gardena hoses are well worth the extra $$ over the others IMO

  • Thanks OP. Got one in the morning from Seven hills

  • Thanks got a couple from Oxenford Qld with a hose connector and the $35 Gardena hose reel.

  • Can anyone comment if this hose will fit well with the ozb's fav Holman 12mm Hose Trigger Gun Combo Set $10?

    • +1

I've just tried connecting it when I was at the store and it worked (but obviously I didn't turn on the water to check). I assume the connectors are all standard.

      • @Siuto great, thanks for taking time replying to this message. Much appreciated 👍

  • I need 30m ,is it good idea to buy two and join them or will leak ?

    • asking same question here

    • Their connections are really good. I'd say give it a go and if no good, just return to store for refund.

  • Damn, if I wasn't given a 30m Hoselink reel last year I'd jump on this. How do people reel this in (or the two connected) or you just leave it lying about?

  • +1

Lol just had a call from bunnings and he called me an OzBargainer 😅 they got swamped and over sold, getting stock from another store so good service imo

  • Don't cheap out on the garden hose. Kinks (both inside and outside of the bedroom) are a pain in the ass.

    • is this a cheap one or good one?

      • It's a good one and is resistant to kinks. Unlike reddead2067. 😉

  • are you guys buying this to put on a reel? or just leave it on the lawn?

  • +3

Bought one. Left in front yard for local stoners to help themselves to.

  • 20 years warranty on the plastic quick connect???

  • Bought 2. Also bought a coupler (not a joiner) to join them. That way I can leave all fittings on and seperate them as needed.

  • +4

Gardena is best garden brand at Bunnings. I've tried them all. Pope is trash.

    • Pope is trash - you can say that again

  • Made in italy

  • Went to the Darwin store and the app said there was six available but speak to a team member. Got a team member to look and she couldn't find one. She called another store member and he looked at the overhead shelf and couldn't find one. I left the store.

Anyways, I went to online and order one and I have received a confirmation of order. I wonder if they will find it as I selected two hours click and collect.

  • Gardena is the best available from Bunnings, but Esdan Super Uniflex is a better hose: more supple yet the connection end doesnt blow out, degrades less whilst sitting in the sun for years, made in Australia, air compressor rated, a great ratio of kink resistance to coilability, and cheaper than the "premium" options from Bunnings.
    https://esdan.com.au/air-compressor-hose/

12mm is standard garden size, they have 20m coils but I was buying 100m coils for the several hoses needed at work. They have an ebay site and other hoses available (the 19mm premium garden hose is good too).

Buying from bunnings better due to smoother return process with 20 years warranty

      • Just curious, how would you proof it was purchased from Bunnings in 2042 ? Don't think the receipt would last that long :)

        • +1

          Powerpass bruv.
Best thing ever if you use bunnings.
Just need your powerpass card for refund

          • @easternculture:

            Powerpass

… but they'll say the warranty is void because you're using the hose for trade use! :)

I use Powerpass for warranty too, but if I don't get 5% off and it's a borderline item, I just take a photo of receipt and email to my Warranty folder.

        • Just curious, how would you proof it was purchased from Bunnings in 2042 ? Don't think the receipt would last that long :)

You know that thing you use to make phone calls and take photos?

You take a photo of it. :)

        • Buy online, or with powerpass, or get the receipt SMS'd and then you have a digital copy.

Otherwise, snap a pic of the receipt and store it digitally.

  • Got 2 from Caroline Springs. Plenty of stock left.

    Thanks OP.

  • Is there a difference with the black vs the grey end?

    • The grey end is a normal end the black is a stop connection doesn’t allow flow unless something attached.

  • I can't have brightly coloured hoses. My cockatoos think they're snakes. And attack and kill them.

  • My order arrived but it came as a hose without an attachment or the complete "original gardena system fitting". Did they mess it up or did I mis-read?
