This is good. I no longer use my fridge water due to the filter being gone

    • I think last time the filters sold out quickly. Make sure to order soon :)

      • Thanks ordered the LT800P. Had extra 5% discount. Came up to $53.95

  • Honest question. I have an LG fridge. The filter is LT1000P. At $59.95 each, even at half price it's ~ $30 each through this deal.

Generic LT1000P compatible filters on Amazon, 4 pack for $50 = ~$12.50 each

Why not buy generic? Kind of like printer inks I guess

    • I was using the generic and noticed the water flow to be extremely slow. I thought maybe its supposed to be like that.

Then I used the original filters from the last deal, and the water flow is super fast and taste better imo too.

    • It comes out to $26.95 for 2 for me, so $13.50 each is not bad compared to generic filter. Somehow I got an extra 10% discount I don't even know why.

  • I have a LG fridge side by side with water dispenser. A few years ago it just starting leaking very slowly at the bottom of the fridge. Not coming from inside the fridge so thinking it is the plumbed water, turn off the tap and water stops leaking. Assuming it is a small water tank on these LG fridges at teh bottom and it has sprung a leak otr cracked? Anyone know anythjig n about this Side by Side LG Fridges and wether easy to replace the tank. Im willing to give it a go, as the wife and kids have been at me for a few years now to get it fixed :(

  • Thanks

  • I have an LG fridge and I don't install the water filter. I always drink water from the tap unfiltered. Anything special about the fridge water or ice system has to be filtered that I don't know of other than there might be build up in the internal water system if unfiltered?
