When you purchase a $10 Giftcard from Uber Eats and redeem it via the ShopBack app, you will receive $2 bonus cashback added to your ShopBack balance.

Terms & Conditions:

• This challenge entitles you to $2 bonus Cashback when you complete all the following milestones between 20th October 2023 12.00am AEDT and 29th October 2023 11.59pm AEDT:
• Spend $10 in one or across multiple transactions on Uber Eats Gift Cards via ShopBack Gift Cards
• Spend $10 in one or across multiple transactions (minimum spend excludes delivery, service and all other fees) at Uber Eats online via ShopBack. You can redeem your Uber Eats Gift Card from the previous milestone task here.
• Only purchases made after you 'Join' this challenge will qualify for the bonus Cashback.
• Limited to one bonus per customer.
• Available while redemptions last.
• The $2 bonus Cashback is in addition to the regular cashback you'll receive for completing all your required milestones.
• The $2 bonus will be added to your account once the regular Cashback for both milestone tasks are confirmed.
• Cashback will be forfeited if any fraudulent activities are detected, or if your order is voided.
• Purchases that do not count towards this challenge are those in which do not meet the store's respective terms and conditions (including but not limited to cancellations, returns, exchanges, using unapproved coupons, and purchasing excluded products/categories).

  I usually use Shopback for UberEats when using mobile since it directs to the app and the UberEats app has the add-on delivery options, whereas the website doesn't.
  But it actually never has tracked for me lately and haven't looked into since only 10c each time I am missing. Just sharing if others have same issue, as the 2nd step of redeem on this deal is confusing - as sounds like need to redeem to gift card balance and then also make an order, therefore too risky with my tracking issue.

  Guessing they don't want you using it as generic Uber credit?

    The effort being…….? spending something you just purchased? Its a reasonable 22% off, combined with Uber One 2for1 deals, seems great to me.

      I'd prefer to add the gift card balance to my account and use when I want. Generally don't order food on uber eats, so it would go to my uber ride balance. They've had 20% on gift cards before, without a max of $10 purchase. Not a good deal imo

        If it's just add it to my Uber balance, that's fine.
        If they want me to spend it now, that's a big No.
        Still too expensive after 20% off.

  The second step looks like an extra hurdle to me
  which could invalidate cashback.

  Every extra step increases the risk of problems so I don't think they were thinking of the customer experience when they put this scheme together.

  What's it to them whether you redeem or not?

  Very confusing steps. I thought step 2 redeem the gift cards means add it to my account which I did. So now if I spend more than $10 do I still get the $2 bonus ?
