  Also here is your manual. On Page 12 under Manual Auto operation section, they show what this button looks like (Although no picture where it is. Read first link to get idea)

  Did you try turning off the circuit breaker for a few mins and then back on?
  If so, did the unit do anything?

  Check exterior unit for blockages or other signs of error

  I have a Daikin that loses connection between the wall and outdoor units after any power outage. Power-cycling the outdoor unit works in my case. Have you checked for any fault codes?

    I havent seen any fault codes but i also dont know where the outdoor unit gets it's power from…
    It is at a commercial property

  If it has power, and the connections are sound, there is an internal fault. A repairer can carry out some tests and/or read the fault/s, to lead to and verify the cause of the failure.

  Just confirming it recently worked? When we moved in we couldn't get an aircon to work until we discovered a mystery 3rd switch on a powerpoint on another wall which controlled the power to it.

  Is it still under warranty ? contact your point of sale and ask them how to proceed. Maybe they can walk you through steps you can do before getting a tech as well.
