        • Yep, same android phone, just signed out of the first account once the 2 eSIMs had been granted and repeated the steps with a second account.

          • @hotsnakes: But you haven’t actually activated and used 4 eSIMs ?

            • @HardQuiz: Correct, but I doubt they would disallow activation or use of the SIMs on the second account, once they are already issued? Surely if they wanted to use some sort of device identifier to limit the offer to one per person (or two 1GB eSIMs in this case, per person) - then they would do so at the point of multiple accounts being created, or when you attempt to redeem the same codes twice - on the same device?

            • @HardQuiz: I won't be attempting to activate and use the eSIMs until April next year, incidentally. Maybe someone else will get further than me and actually use the eSIMs from this deal across multiple accounts, on the same device.

          • @hotsnakes: Sorry confused why you said once the two esims? Oh you were able to stack the trial and referral? It doesn't work anymore.

            • @CyberMurning: Yeah just entered TELUESIM and a referral code for 2 x 1GB eSIMs, but according to the comments below it sounds like that is no longer possible.

Has anyone with an iPhone got this to work? I have added my sim to use the data and APN is 3gnet but not working when I disconnect from WiFi.

  • This is now only available in 16 countries and not the 17 countries as it was at the time this was originally posted.

The country that this no longer works in is Taiwan. I'm guessing it's because it's the home country of this SIM provider

Used this in Japan and Singapore recently and it worked beautifully. Along with a Sim we got when buying our Railpass via Klook, this was enough for our 14 day trip so Data didn't end up costing us a cent.

Unable to use referral code after signing up with code "TELUESIM". Getting error "You have already used the new user free trial code."

    • The opposite I used the referral first then could not get TELUESIM to work, same red warning.
      So they killed the stacking

    • Yeah I got the same issue but grateful for the 1GB regardless.

  • What is the recommended offline maps for travelling to Japan? Walking route is important

    • A bit off-topic for an eSIM comment thread… but… Google Maps can download maps for offline viewing but routing is very limited offline. Yamap is the main hiking app if you know Japanese. Komoot and All Trails are other options to store offline walking routes in.

      • Thanks Will try google map first. My walk is not bushwalk but just from hotel to nearby mall for example…

    Sorry first time using Esim.
So after successful redeeming I can see my data plan. Await. Asia 1 gb.
How to activate? Click acquire? And I have to click closer to my departure date not now, right?

Edit found the answer I think:
    eSIM Activation Period:
    Once the redeem code is
    redeemed, the eSIM must
    be activated within 180 days
and can be used for 30 days
    after activation. Please be
    mindful of the deadline
and activate it as early as
    possible

I previously signed up for 2 eSIMs via TELUESIM and a referral code. Currently in Bali. Used 1 eSIM to 950MB then swapped to the other one, no issues. Has been pretty solid for most of the time (over a week) but LTE (via Indosat) dropped out today - no data, and I'm in a very populated/ touristy area Jimbaran. Solution was to choose the Indosat LTE network manually on my Android Pixel 7 phone. Weak signal strength but at least LTE is working now.

  • Can I sign up multiple accounts and use the eSIMs one after the other or they do device ID tracking like Eskimo eSIM? cheers

    • +1

I can confirm it works using multiple accounts on the same device. The weird thing is the internet doesnt work right away on the 2nd eSIM, but after around 12h, it starts to work

  • Can anyone confirm that this works in Malaysia and Singapore as listed?

    • Currently in Singapore using this … Used Eskimo for Malaysia… Had to enter APN manually (3gnet) and restart to get it working on Starhub

I've got 2 X 1gb Telu e-sims so saved them for Singapore since couldn't use Eskimo in Singapore

    • Have you found out?

      • +1

I think orbital answered your question above. Using in Singapore as noted above with manual APN change.

Dunno if it's just me but 4G in Bali with this eSIM s&cks ass

  • I can't get a second free esim?

I've created an account as above, redeemed using teluesim code, activated the esim and downloaded and installed it onto my phone, all's eems fine

The referal code generator seems to be blocked from ozbargain. I've registered 2 different devices. If I try and use a redeem code from either of those devices on the other device, it errors with "you have already used the new user trial code". Any suggestions?
