      It does take the price of the more expensive shoe so need to keep that in mind! Best to buy 2 identically priced shoes to maximise value!

    Had a few different pairs of these in different colours as a teen in the 90's, still my favourite ever shoe. I also have a pair I bought about 10 years ago that I wear for cutting the grass and DIY around the house.

    I'm a fan of the Classic Leathers, had a pair when I was a kid and own a pair now. With that said, the materials aren't amazing and no one should ever pay RRP for a pair. At this price though they're a good buy.

    CL Nylons and Club C look great too

      Are C85 comfortable? My wife bought Nike Airforce sneakers that weren't very comfortable, so I'm hesitant to buy any sneakers. I'm also unsure of how they'll look on a 48-year-old.

        They are extremely comfortable, I wear C85 revenge's the most, but I find the regular C85 feels the same on the foot. Depends on the person and foot though, so worth trying for yourself, as some people swear by New Balance and I have never found a New Balance shoe that remotely fits my foot shape, so what is comfortable for me may not be for you or your wife.
