  • The AMC XIA 30 is a great amp and the price is pretty good.

    • This or Yamaha s301?

      • +1

So the Yamaha s301 has double the output power.

In my personal opinion, I would still go for the AMC as it sounded excellent to me and I have it in addition to two Yamaha receivers including the RX-v6A.
Have not listened to the s301.

So if you have a smaller room and are happy with 30W then the AMC is better as its almost $200 cheaper and am sure wont disappoint.

If not, you can pay $499 and get the AMC XIA50 also at Rio. It will still be cheaper than the s301.

Another consideration is phono input for turntables. s301 has it. Maybe not be a big deal if you dont have a TT.

Rio's XIAs may not have it but this XIA 50B has it.

  • so Onkyo TX-SR393 AV doesn't have eARC? how come!!!!

  • What is the best 9.2 receiver at the moment, Looking for 7.2 ATMOS + Zone 2

    • +1

I would have a look at the Onkyo TX-NR7100 or the Integra DRX-3.4 as a minimum. The Onkyo TX-RZ50 and the Integra DRX-5.4 are both great receivers as a next step up. I would certainly look at these models. Feel free to give us a call on 03 94169943 to have a further chat :)
