Google Play Stopped Purchases with Turkey Profile

Has anyone else been blocked from purchasing in Google play? I just get a message "Something went wrong. Your transaction can't be completed".

Started a lengthy chat with Google support and Google have updated their policy to not allow purchases in countries that don't match the payments profile. Connecting with PIA VPN does not work either.

    This hasn't worked for about 2 months now. Nothing you can do about it except wait a year from when you last changed coutries and change back to Australia. Google has done the same with other countries like Bangladesh as well.

        Any of the new Turkish deals are through other means such as VPN. None of the Google Play methods work now execpt for existing subscriptions.

      Yeah same, borked a few months ago. Had to move to another country that isn't as cheap but still cheaper than oz!

          It was the philippines from memory, not the cheapest on the list, but it was right at the start before everyone worked out why Turkey was broken. And the philippines worked for me, so just left it alone.

      It does for me. I have a monthly Discord Nitro subscription that still works using my Turkish payment method.

    I haven't had any issues myself.

    But yes, if they expect me to pay full price for Youtube they're dreaming. Will just go to Youtube Vanced or whatever the current ad-free version of it is on Android. (profanity) Google.

      You can still go via Turkey for YouTube Premium as you don't purchase this through the Google Play Store. It's different to buying in app purchases or subscriptions like Discord Nitro.

    They just cut my subscription. Popup offered to continue my sub at AUD $42.99 per month. Ouch!
