Best price according to CCC. It's getting cheaper and cheaper.

I didn't buy this one but opted for the stove top version. Maybe useful to those who prefers easy cleaning.

Note: not sure what's happening but Amazon removed the free prime delivery for both the big and small ones.

  • Isn't this the stove top version?

  • Apologies for my white, old school ignorance, but is the main use for this like at a Korean BBQ? Or is it good for stuff I don't know about (but might like to learn about!)

    • +1

Yes, Korean and Japanese BBQ. Don't think they will be as good as using charcoal but good enough for home use.

I actually haven't used mine yet. I'm sure the more knowledgeable guys and girls will give you their feedbacks.

    • +1

Yes. We spend $120+ in the last two times having bbq in some Korean restaurants. With this grill we cook at home 9+ Wagyu beef which cost no more than $60. Much better quality meet and experience.

  • +2

No free delivery even with prime.

    • Hey you are right. No prime, not a good deal.

      I'll take this down.

  • +1

not free delivery for me either atm

  • Bought the small size to use on a Supercheap Auto RidgeRider portable butane stove. Similar to ones @Kmart etc.

Stove won't heat it enough to grill😢

Photos & videos show a much larger flame produced with much more expensive Iwatani portable gas stove.

Went back to using cast iron griddle (with ridges to run off excess fat etc) on induction stove. Does a good job. Was $8 @Aldi on clearance.

    • I saw many people asking about the high power Iwatani portable gas stove. But some suggested it didn't meet the Aus standard so it's likely not going to be sold again.

I think induction works too well for cast iron. It can go screaming hot in a short time but my cheap portable hob has a small hotspot in the middle so I have to turn and move the food around frequently.
