Samsung Galaxy Note II N7100 $692.58 Shipped @DWI Via PayPal

35

They marked the price $679, when paying via Paypal, they have a 2% surcharge. So in total it is $679+$679*2%=$692.58

The cheapest I can find.

In addition, select Free shipping.

Also, they may have a wrong title said "Samsung Galaxy Note N7100 16GB UNLOCKED Mobile Phones", but from the specs and description it is Galaxy Note II.

Only WHITE version available from their website.

  • tempting, but there's no vehicle dock for NOTE2 with charging and audio out like the NOTE1… hmmm

DWI…don't go there for phones. Do a search for more info.

Essentially no warranty and very poor trade practices.

Imo they don't deserve out business.

    Edit- More info here: http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/67855

    DWI warranty process.
    - send phone back
    - call every week (since emails are not read nor responded to), after 4-5 weeks they'll actually start diagnostics on the phone
    - Results come back from diagnostics, but they wont notify you. You have to call them for it.
    - If your phone is faded or slightly dinged, then your warranty is void. All damages would be blamed on "Physical abuse". $350 repair bill
    - Argue your case, bring up some evidence. No use talking to unqualified technicians. $350 repair bill
    - Ask for your phone to be sent back without repairs. Pay $10 delivery fee, advised it will arrive in 3 business days.
    - Call back 5 business days later. Advised that the phone is somewhere in China. Can deliver straight to your door if preferred.
    - Receive phone 2 weeks later.
    - Sell broken phone on ebay for $250

Total time without broken phone: 10 weeks.

If anyone enjoyed that story then go buy from DWI. I omitted some parts which involved dept. of fair trading, because it would just be too long.

PS: This is what I had to go through to try and get my Galaxy Note repaired, the phone had the emmc issue.

      sounds awful.

Yeah but at least krisspy actually got their Gnote!!

In my case DWI strung a few of us along for 8 weeks with BS excuses like "it will be shipped on Thursday", then Saturday, then Thursday etc.

Eventually we got to the bottom of it when they sent the following email..

        Hi

We have checked with relevant departments.

For the model you order, the reason that ebay orders can be fulfilled is due
to a higher price, we cannot fulfill the lower price order as WE DO NOT MAKE
        LOSS FOR ANY ORDER

Perhaps, we may be able to get the model at a normal price(a lower cost) at
the end of January from our supplier, but there is no guarantee.

In the meantime, we offer you with a discount to get Samsung Galaxy Nexus
I9250 at $610 instead. Please reply.

I9250 in fact is the most powerful Andriod smartphone in the market today,
        with Andriod 4.0,

If you have any other questions please let us know.

Therefore, I suggest YOU DO NOT MAKE LOSS ON ANY ORDER and order from the likes of Kogan instead of DWI, lest you end up like krisspy etc. I have used Kogans warranty replacement service recently on my S3 and it is very good.

one of the worst service ever!

    • the parts you omitted involving dept. of fair trading were irrelevant because they are not an australian company trading solely in australia hence it would have got you nowhere. amirite?

      • +1

        correct

      • Nothing to do with that. The claim was against Atech distribution, their warranty services which is registered and operated in Australia.

      so painful …

  • Seems I should delete the post. :(

  • i'd jump on this if it was 4G but think I'll wait. don't delete your post laoya. You done good. Every contribution counts. Eventually people will get tired of internet hate.

    • +8

Theres a difference between "Hate" and being courteous enough to warn people off from a bad deal/company.

      Apple posts = discriminatory hate
DWI = hate due to fail practices

    • isnt it 4g?
"It features 2GB RAM, is powered by Google's latest Android OS v4.1 ((Jelly Bean) and supports 3G and 4G LTE connectivity."

  • my previous experience with DWI was good, items were shipped to my door about 2-3 days
    genuine and proper packing

    • +2

It's not so much shipping people are complaining about, its after sales support. Mine arrived after 3 days aswell. Box was unsealed and everything. But i did notice after about nov/dec last year the complaints on delays skyrocketed

People need to read the terms on their warranty. It states something like "we need to be able to replicate the fault before it is deemed a defect". Had i read that earlier and not the "12 months AUSTRALIAN warranty" I would've never done business with these jokers.

I've also got $4k+ worth of camera gear purchased from them. Trying to get rid of it since it really has no effective warranty on it.

  • I've purchased $10K+ of camera hardware from DWI during the past 2 years. Good experience, but then again, I've never needed to warranty anything through them.

  • these deals from this company should be banned. how can it be a bargain if they just hold onto your money and don't fill the orders? that's like going into hungry jacks with a $2 whopper voucher and then getting it only when the next day as they can't make a ladder on the order……rofl.
