    delivers 11x faster response

So when the quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog, it does it even quicker now.

I dont know why people pay this for these plastic sh1tboxes when you can get something far more custom for less

Bro for esport gamers the choice is the Wooting60HE or this or the Razer Huntsman mini analog as a very last resort (DrunkDeer A75 also an option). Any other keyboard puts you at a competitive distance.

If you’re just typing - yeah a custom is just fine.

Yes and also the Wooting costs $200 more than the SteelSeries and has a long wait time.

        • I ordered a two HE 2 months ago, still gotta wait.

        So no-one on OzB.

        • who made you the representative of ozb?

High confidence, low knowledge. Hopefully you make it off the mountain

Dry Studio's custom Black Diamond is probably the closest gaming custom mechanical keyboard with 2ms latency. That groupbuy has finished now though. Still far off from 0.7ms latency on the Apex Pro.

  • Hmm, did i make the wrong choice? I bought the cherry mx 10 at officeworks yesterday. Price beat costco and paid with discounted gift card. Ended up $145. I would have paid the extra for this if it means i dont need to change the keyboard for a few years..

    • Depends - do you need the gaming features?

The MX-10 is going to be fine for 10 years. Personally, I bought a Filco Majestouch 2 ten years ago and it is still in decent condition and without issues. I have upgraded since as I prefer a smaller form factor.

did they put 1 too many 2's in the price?

It looks like another $30 60% GK61 clone, but it's not.

It's using Hall Effect sensors, so the tech is quite different and equivalent boards are also expensive (See Wooting 60HE, etc). The tech should start normalising and coming down in price soon, since Keychron and others are making their own HE systems (and making it open source).

  • A shame it looks like a $29 keyboard from Aliexpress.
