  • It would probably pair pretty well with this https://www.kogan.com/au/buy/salesbay-12v-10w-solar-panel-ba…?

Here's a a Youtube review from Snowys store, quite helpful if you're considering buying it.
It's apparently 71cm in diameter, has a 3 metre power cord with an inline on/off switch, no hi/med/low option, and connects to power via a car cig lighter adapter.

    • This one doesn't appear to have a cig lighter plug or on off switch

      • Ah yes you're right, but I think I prefer the battery clips over the cig lighter anyhow. But no on/off switch that would be disappointing.

    12V Portable Ceiling Fan

Awesome! Cheaper then re-gassing the car aircon!

  • Thanks grabbed one, interesting product

"That's Going straight to the pool room"

Only reasonable review for the socket plug variant
11watt much better air flow than a basically enclosure fan we typically struggle with camping or working in the yard

  • Could I fit this into the back seat of my colorado?

    • If that's where your mother in law sits then yes.

    • Packaged Length ~ 28.3cm

      Packaged Width ~ 13.4cm

      Packaged Height ~13cm

If your Colorado is anything smaller than 1/10 scale, probably not..

  • portable?
that would make it a breeze to install

I don’t have this exact one, but I have a near identical similar one from Temu (the blades look a little different, otherwise mostly - if not exactly - the same)

Works extremely well for what is, has made a massive difference in a room that traps heat and is difficult to ventilate, costs next to nothing to run

    • Just noticed this is 12V - mine is USB

However, physically speaking, they’re near identical and should work the same

      • Any links or photo you can share of the one you got?

          This one

I got the one with a switch, but the cable isn’t long enough to put the switch in a suitable position (at least in the room I have it in). That said, the regular cable version and a USB extension cord with a switch would be a good option

  • Wish it had the rpm in the specs

I've had one for over two years now. It's been hanging over the bed in my caravan running continuously for the majority of that time without issue. Way more airflow than $150+ Sirocco fans.

There are unbranded ones in eBay for around this price all of the time, though. I only purchased from RTM because I wanted one that day.

This deal is full of spin - what a load of hot air!

    • I’m a fan of this comment

I bought one from RTM on offer like $14.99. There was one on display. Amazing airflow and very low power draw. It was like 0.3 amp. Can't go wrong at this price if you have a suitable place to hang it.

  • Is this one those only fans deals?
