Not bad price all things considered. I'd say $10-12 would be a better price point for EG.
What is the difference in grades?
Scales and complexity mostly. EG, HG, RG are 1/144 scale. MG and Re1/100 are 1/100 scale. PG is 1/60 scale.
@Spendmore: Mostly complexity and colour correctness. Eg to compare an HG and RG (both same size) RG will have an inner frame (which is awesome), much higher part count, more options for accessories, more detail on the pieces, and be colour correct (a HG will be mostly correct but often need stickers or a minor touch up if you want it completely perfect).
I say mostly however, as the more modern HG kits tend to blur the lines quite a bit. Despite the fact that there's something actually called entry grade, HG is the "real" entry level grade and the most common one. Many models only come in HG unless they're the protagonist suits.
Incidentally, this isn't a great bargain when you include shipping.

This has been the price for a while. Shipping is $23.32 which basically killed this deal as the total price is $35.42.
For your reference I got this kit on sale back in late Sept this year for $17.79 on Amazon AU via Japan free shipping with a bunch of other WFM kits.

Does anyone have any insight into what’s happening with the prices of Amazon Japan products?
For a while a lot of items were selling, including postage, for close to the Japanese retail price. Then everything I had been buying (gundam, puzzles, etc.) jumped by about $15. Not sure if the prices were initially a mistake, but definitely disappointing.
