Is it just me, or does it look like robin hood?

    • Yes, but I'd be a great camping pot.

That's because as well as fighting for the honour of a King who thought that it was more important to be buggering around in the holy lands on a pointless crusade, Robin Hood also failed to file a patent for the design of his hat and got steamrollered by the Italians for future royalties on moka coffee pots.

The Italian (dogs) military was under the Nazi Germany directorate and so they invaded URSS plus several other countries, of course the Alpini (dogs) participated in the nazi invasion too.

I think you're in the wrong deal thread.
This is a coffee pot for humans, not dogs.

            @pitoui:

            pot for humans, not dogs

The military who were sent to a certain death were indeed dogs who had to obey to a tyrant.

            wrong deal thread

I'm in the right thread because the coffee machine sells in the honour of the dog Alpini who murdered thousands of innocent people.

The coffee maker is a tribute to Italy's mountain infantry "Alpini" (Alpine Corps) in the form of their famous feathered hat. I have a personal connection here. But there's some history to take on board. This is very much a niche item. And then there's the colour of this item in your kitchen.

      Bialetti make many beautiful pots.

And how many innocent people were murdered in the name of a Holy BS order???

Yes some war criminals feel like a man with a gun in their hands.

    • No , but it does look like a gimmick .

Capacity of 90 ml and 3 cups, do each cup contains less than 30 ml considering some water would be absorbed by the beans, that would be only suitable for 1 person right ?

    • Good pickup, yes for 1 person.

This really depends on your definition of what constitutes one cup, and whether you are drinking it straight or adding frothed milk. By volume a 3-cup moka pot brews three shots of coffee, but for me this constitutes one cup of coffee. Of course a moka pot doesn't develop the pressure to brew a shot of coffee as strong as a steam espresso machine, so this doesn't have the same strength as three shots of espresso.

      • Great explanation Thank you.

I should also have said that 90ml is what you get out of it. You actually fill the bottom chamber with about 150ml of water, with the missing 60ml remaining in the puck and partially at the bottom of the chamber.

I read up on reviews this as the colour and style appealed to me.. Apparently your better off with normal stainless steel if you want longevity (have the Venus model ). The colour coatings don't last.

I also have the mini express which pours out two espresso cups for camping - it spits coffee everywhere during the process.. beware

Contacted their Customer Service with a video asking if it was normal - their customer service is awful!

You need to be careful with using detergents on the aluminium pots, and never put them in the dishwasher.

      • No mate - assuming 👎

  • Damn, thought Bosch brought out a battery-compatible kettle..

You might need to get on the Makita 18v platform

      https://www.makita.com.au/building-construction/category/clo…

      • Haha, WOW, maybe I do! 😅

        One day I think..

I have a few unopened Sidchrome and ToolPro sets, lots of Knipex stuff coming this week and next.

Next thing will be some Wera sets, and then probably finally a good Makita drill and build that ecosystem for the move to Portugal.

My first post was a joke, I didn't realise that they made battery-compatible coffee machines and/or kettles AND genuinely thought this was a Bosch kettle thing.. 😅 It pops off because of that red button thing! Genuinely looks like Bosch cw.. 🤣

        Edit: It's not even a button, it's a berry on a leaf.. 😅
