Wait for the return flight at the airport until you figure out how to use google to search 'things to do in Samoa '

My wife and I went to Samoa a few years ago and it was one of the best holidays we've had (Stayed around Lalomanu). The people are lovely, it's less overtaken by upscale resorts like Fiji that feel artificial, and there's a lot of beautiful stuff to do. Highlights were To Sua ocean trench and snorkelling among giant clams, but there's a lot to keep you busy easy for a week or so, plus generally a nice place to relax.

Wear a Penriff jersey, you'll be treated like royalty.

  • Note that their Lite fares include carry-on luggage.

You'd hope so … a better statement would be 'Lite fares do not include checked-in luggage'.

Nah I'd just missed a word - "only". Updated.

  • what planes do they use for these flights? especially the one from Bris if I went business class?

737s. That’s all VA has now

As above, in 700s and 800s. VA are starting to receive their MAX 8 orders now too.

      Virgin only has 737

@Omarko Warning - BNE to AKL in a business class cabin did NOT include VA 'The Business' so there were no lay flat beds for a 5 hour flight on a 737 - I'd check the cabin config to ensure it's actually allowing for the specific bed/cabin config … but probs not?

EDIT: big difference with 737-800 and 737-MAX …

      • Very little difference on the 800 vs Max. A comfy seat yes but neither have a lie flat. That said for a daytime 5 hour flight it’s probably not needed. Personally I wouldn’t pay the premium for business on this route.
