For anyone wondering, the SE is basically the same as the QC45, but with a soft case.
That's it? Why is it a different name?
It is mainly just the case. No one really knows why the SE is different but the only main difference is the case.
Plus it literally shows up in the app as QC45.
I love mine but they have a weird problem where certain loud noises produce a harsh noise cancelling response. E.g. clinking like dropping cutlery in the drawer. Sent to Bose and got a replacement. Same thing. Wife’s set do it as well but that doesn’t bother her.Has anyone had this experience?
I have TaoTronics 85’s and notice the same thing when putting away cutlery with NC on.
Got to the point where I now instinctively turn off NC before emptying the dishwasher haha.Edit to add: I imagine active firearm ear pro would not have the same problem…
@bopter12: Finally someone else with the same experience! 'Sounds' like it might be a bit of a feature of NC, though you'd think there would be a max cancellation volume.
Otherwise a great pair of headphones.
