Cheapest/Best Value Low Data Sim Plan

Just want some advice/suggestions on SIM plans and different providers. I've noticed Dad only uses 2-3GB of data a month and is paying $45 for a vodafone sim monthly plan for 60GB. He obviously doesn't need to be paying all that. Looking in to porting his number over to a new provider.

Currently looking at:
-Flip 3GB for $9.90
-Southern Phone which have $5 6/mnth then $15 for 5GB
-Moose which are doing $10 12/mnth then $15 for 6GB

Open to any other recommendations and experiences with those providers :)

    Catch connect $89 60gb 365 day plan may suit, thats 5gb a month at about 7.42 a month cost, on the Optus network.

    I got Amaysim Black Friday 365d 60GB for $60 last year - but didn't receive the $90 renewal offer for year 2. So I'm shopping now and the bottom of the market appears to be Catch 60GB for $89 or 120GB for $109 (via Finder). Coles 60GB $120 plan is discontinued on 9-Nov. Amaysim appear to have discontinued their 60GB $120 plan.

      There's still some references on their website but yeah, not seemingly advertised anymore.

      Catch definitely seems to be the best alternative.

      I got that same amaysim plan at same price EOFY sale 2 years ago, got the $90 renewal but they did the same $60 EOFY sale again so ported out and back in, both times I also got cashback, 17.50 cashback first year, then 7.50 second year, gonna miss my super cheap plan come EOFY next year.

        Just closed a live chat with Amaysim. Only selected customers receive discounted renewals, so I'm porting out to Catch for the next 12m.

          I expect to port out from Amaysim next EOFY, doubt they'll send the $90 offer as they've discontinued the $120 plan, will probably be looking at Catch myself.

    Hi I am in a different situation but thought I will run through with you girls and boys as I am looking for something similar….

    My Vodafone BYOD Apple plan just finish which was paid for from work. My wife is on $55 300G plan and a separate $20 data sim will keep me access to her data. This $75 I can get work to pay for.

    I will need the cheapest sim to give me call and txt. For now Southern Phone $5 plan looks the cheapest for that purpose, any other options?
