The 9 piece set was shipped for me.
My inlaws have this.
They have only had it for less than 6 months and in the shade and the foam is already sinking and color fading, and material is showing signs of degredation.
Looks to be landfill in next 6 months or so.
Even for $45, if it end up landfill its not really worth the hassle in general or assembling and then organising the disposal of it in a year.

PU leather aka plastic. Would avoid. These products usually lack hardiness and will start disintegrating fairly readily.

@easternculture: Shipping containers can withstand any weather conditions. That's why they used them for shipping.

I got tracking number from coles today but when I go to track the item it says Unfortunately, your parcel reference number does not match a parcel reference number created on our system. I will wait and see. Btw whistl are people who will handling the consignment, which is a UK company.

on the left side there is a rod that you can push in to stop the chair from reclining. I pulled it out and almost fell over backwards when testing it.

I think it is to remove the hand rest, or the handle at the back. But the hand rest could add some structural strength to the back, so probably best to leave it on.
