      Napisan Vanish Gold contains about the same amount of Sodium Percarbonate than the Coles/Woolies/Aldi home brand job.

      The % Sodium Percarbonate is the only thing that matters.

    Hopefully everyone knows the half price is really the real RRP & all the prices have been jacked by the big food chains I just been to NZ & they don't have the "half price 'problem but WW there are trying there hardest to put in place without much luck all the Australian items I've seen there are far cheaper in NZ than here we are getting ripped off by our own stores .

    just get from ALDI brand, $2.75/kg. OMO is not 3 times that good, or 6 times when full priced.

    I currently use the OMO ultimate powder. Are there any scientific reasons that suggest if powder is better than liquid or vice versa?

      Have you used the liquid? if so, how does it compare cleaning/scent wise? I was getting powder left on my clothes so moved to liquids but found some liquids also leave marks. My favourite so far is OMO but it does leave marks on my gym clothes

        Haven't tried OMO liquid but have tried liquid with other brands. I didn't find any real difference in fragrance or cleanliness. Do you use a top loader? I previously used powder on my top loader and did see some powder left on the clothes. I've now switched to a front loader and never see the powder anymore.

      I switched from powder to liquid a few years ago as liquid is less messy. Bits of powder fly around the laundry and build up a residue. Powder can also cake up in the detergent dispenser.

        I find that liquid detergent doesn't get fully flushed into the drum of my front loader. There's always a little bit left for some reason.

        I use powder for 9/10th of my wash and every 10th wash or so, I use liquid.

      Powder is more concentrated than liquids (and also cheaper)

      I only use about 1/2 the recommended amount (of powder) in my front loader. Any more and I sometimes get foaming issues which turns a 1hr cycle into a 3hr cycle.
