Lots of love for it on Reddit so I made sure to put it in the title. Supposedly another game was in it's place for a little while. Humble fixed it quickly though.
I thought they ruined it in one fell swoop with their death mechanic: When you die nothing respawns you just get kicked to the active checkpoint and have to run back to clear out the remnants. This effectively robs you of any sense of accomplishment since death is a health refill and the encounter designs don't account for this in any meaningful way. I got bored despite being a boomer shooter enthusiast and liking it's controls sound and aesthetics.
Remember to delay any purchasing until later this month if an active or paused subscriber to maximum that retention offer discount.
On the flipside supposedly some people have run into trouble getting their keys towards the end of bundles. You'll probably get the key eventually but just something to watch for.

The sub charges you in first week of January, of you attempt to skip in the last week it offers you more than if you skip earlier.
Very often I get -$4 USD discount to $8, but they changed this month to offer $1 for early skips, is possible the -$4 still come to those who hold on and then skip in a few weeks.
I have a second mostly inactive humble account with which I had last got a choice bundle back in '21, and just got offered last months for USD$6 during the last couple days it was available in an attempt to lure me back. Didn't work (yet), but glad I accidentally created it way back when.

It's not often that the Humble Monthly bundle drops, in which I already have two games - that I've actually completed.
Unpacking is lovely, and Hardspace Shipbreaker is excellent. Honestly, I'd say the bundle is worth it for either game alone, but both? Yeah.

They did well this month. Total bundle priced below the ATL for 3 of the games by themselves. If ITAD is correct, none of the games have been bundled before. I assume some of them may be or have been in gamepass but that's a little different.
