      The For Dummies series of books are actually pretty good guides that mix theoretical background and with practical examples and exercises. I assume this book will give a background into generative AI, how we got from not having chatgpt to having it at our fingertips, ethical considerations etc.

        I used to like the "Complete Idiot's Guide To" books because they featured Cliff Claven (the know-it-all character from Cheers) on the cover. Like the Dummies books, content was very good.
