I have 2 kids starting BYOD classes next year so need to purchase keyboard cases for their IPADs (9th gen and 10th gen).
For the 10th gen I am looking at the logitech combo touch as this device will be used in Yr8.
For the 9th gen, this will be used in Grade 5. So not sure what to get (value vs price vs longevity).
What are your thoughts? Can you recommend any models for the 9th gen?

My school has the rugged folio ones with the Smart Connector (so no battery to charge nor bluetooth issues). I think we're into our 4th year of them with not a single issue.
This year I bought 60 slim cases with magnetic attaching keyboards from aliexpress for $30 each and have been really impressed. They are handy as the kids can leave their keyboards in their classroom for specialists and have a slimmer iPad.

OP, I got the first edition of Zagg Messenger Folio for iPad 9th gen that my kid been using in grade 3. So far so good, rugged built.
The only downside I can think of is, hard to remove from the casing (if you wanted to use only the tablet - although I’d imagine kid won’t necessarily remove the table from the casing anyway) AND it’s a bluetooth keyboard - but so far, I haven’t charged it - it’s almost a term my kid been using it.
The top side - it came with a bunch of shortcuts (search, home, etc), better than the Apple branded one
Does the school have a recommendation?
