  I got this from the last deal and I am really impressed by it. The new vent mounting system sounds silly but it definitely works to make a strong hold. The magnets are also very strong. It even does the official MagSafe animation when you charge!

  Bought in the last deal, was waiting a long time for a good magsafe car mount with charging. Very solid attachment. Charges normally at ~500mA with regular 12v -> USB adapter. Had some issues with a higher power adapter (would constantly loop between charging and not charging), but it's a QC adapter and not PD3 compliant.

    the ¡ in the square version is supposed be a magnet to line up the phone straight but it doesn't seem functional in this newer version judging by the pictures of the o protruding too far out.

  IMO car vent mounts are the stupidest thing, with large phone in place it block that outlet, and if you hit a speed bump or a pothole there is good chance that your vent louvres may be damaged under the weight of the mounted phone.

    agree the dash mount with the stickers is better as it lets you choose a better position for your arms/car. just need to replace the stickers with 3M Scotch Extreme Fasteners Black 2.5cm x 7.6cm Strips - 2 Pack. ~$5 from bunnings.

      There is no way that 6"+ mobile phone is not going to block the airflow coming out of the air vent behind it.

  I have several wireless car charger. Eventually I still return to use the cable charging which is way more efficient. The wireless charging in the car made my device really warm especially in the hot summer. By the way I am using dashboard style. There are some wireless car chargers have the fan built in which generates some noticeable noise. I hope someone could recommend a good one to us.
