My cardiologist suggested the Apple Watch to keep a check of my heart rate and keep ECG records.

Apple watches go on sale, just not from Apple. It's still too new for a significant discount though.

If you have AIA insurance, you can get a Series 9 on a 24 month payment plan. Google "AIA Apple Watch Benefit".
Other than that, Apple products rarely goes on sale so you can just get it directly in store.
