    I just read 3 reviews of it that said inaudible at ambient room noise levels, even under load. At most it's 30dBA under full load.

            Yours is a semi-modular bronze tier 650W PSU, this is a fully modular Titanium tier 1000W PSU.

            It's more efficient and it can handle more power basically.

  I bought another. I already had one that was running my desktop. Building another desktop was looking at some 850w PSUs, but this price was too tempting. I haven't noticed any noise apart from at startup.
