You always get a better deal if you wait patiently.

    • This is a good deal but for even better deal, Dyson need to release a new model, Dyson V16 Mars edition at least.

    • Unless it's Nintendo Switch.

    Good to know this below!

Dyson 45 day Money Back Guarantee

If you change your mind about your order, you can cancel within 45 days of receiving your machine(s) with our Dyson Money Back Guarantee.

    • They also have a price guarantee policy, but I don't think they would lower the price again within this Black Friday season. Cashrewards/ShopBack may provide a better cashback rate but the price is low enough if you need to buy one.

I just got a $117 refund for the last deal compared to the price I paid 2 weeks ago. Dyson’s support has always been one or the best direct to consumer as they pretty much provide the resolution you are hoping for without fuss but I’m not going to push my luck with a double dip in return for favour from the deal gods.

        • I had better customer support than Dyson, they are hit-and-miss.

  • Want one so bad but just got a new battery for my V6 which is going strong…please sell out or something.

    • Sell your v6 on Gumtree, at least get a v8.

      • I also have a V6 that is still going strong. What makes the V8 a significant improvement?

        • +1

The bin release system. I think even v7 will do.

Dyson has a good resell value, even better than Tesla, If the battery is good, just clean the whole unit, and put it on Market Place or Gum Tree.

          • @boomramada: Man I still use DC45 and that's still going strong lol

            • @NeoX: Mee too, and it was a store unit as well from DS, manager let me take it for next to nothing on the last days.

@boomramada: I do like that shotgun pump release style and want a fluffy roller- other than that, the V6 is good enough. Robot vac does most of the work.

        • All the accessories from the v8 can be used on the v15 and Gen 5 detect. Better if you can find a cheaper v7 elsewhere. I have v8 from 2016. Still going strong, upgraded to a refurbished v11 on ebay for cheap. Just bought the main body. Much cheaper to buy than an complete unit

Reviews are kinda mixed but mostly falling in the no camp.
    * Still need to vacuum prior
    * Have to hold the on button
    * Dirty water spills out when full and no indicator of when it's full
    * Cleaning the roller after is kinda gross hands on experience
    * Smaller battery means lighter but about 10 mins of mop time
    * Uses the older gen5 from 2021 instead of 2022

    • Have to hold the on button

      This.

      • Grab a bit of velcro and wrap it tight when you want to stay on.

Agree at that price there should be an option within the product, but it’s a relatively easy fix for those that do want to keep it on

Buy the plastic trigger holder off eBay

@Queue2Queue I’m probably bias since I have one but my thought on the points
      - it’s definitely a mop replacement, not a wet vac replacement. For general cleaning Still should vacuum before as with any regular mopping. If cleaning specific spill expect it will get messy.
      - general mopping. it shouldn’t spill since has a set water limit with the container. If a spot spill clean and waste water fills up it was not the right tool for the job in first place
      - battery life is huge for mop head as the vacuum suction doesn’t operate. I used for whole house (3x2 wood floors with ~50% rug coverage) and went from 95% to 85%.

I think Dyson’s biggest problem with submarine is how they market it. In some areas they used wording to imply it’s like a wet vac such as headlines of “dysons v25s detect submarine wet and dry vacuum comes with….”, but it is a vacuum with a wet head attachment, not a wet vac at all. in the detail of the ads is where they are more selective about what it can do (washing and cleaning and uses small spills to illustrate).

My biggest pro is that it does the job I want from a mop (ie washes the floor post vacuum, not as a emergency spill tool) and removes the dirty liquid rather than just pushing it around. If I got it with the intent to use as an emergency response to clean up large spills rather than routine cleaning I’d agree little use and would returning it

      • What's the clean-up like afterwards? Is it just the detachable roller, or do you have to get in there and clean out the dirt from behind the roller and throughout the head part?

    • if it wet vac then everything would get pretty filthy I'd imagine and you would need to take apart the whole vaccum to dry it all, sounds like a nightmare. Sounds a good mop replacement as I need to vaccum before hand anyway, the only thing is will the battery hold up basically doing the whole house twice?

      • Yes, the motor doesn't run using the mop head, only the floor head. You'll still have the vast majority of the battery left for vacuuming

    • Think your last point is a typo mate, think you'll find you mean V15 (gen 4) motor

  • Dont waste your time trying to get them to honour the best price policy if you just purchased this a few days ago. Because its a promo code apparently it doesn't qualify. All they could offer is cancellation of my order and then re-order

    FYI Code still works.
Just placed an order with the code for the Complete!
