    iOS has a built in QR reader you can add to Control Centre and there’s thousands of sites for creating QR codes in the rare cases you want to make one.

    No need to install some random app.

          but the shortcut in control centre can't do it either.

          I was just sharing my tips. Generating will have to use other apps or website, however in rare cases for most of people.

          You can generate a QR code in iOS with the Apple Shortcuts app right on your device - no need for external websites either ;)

          Looks like the only bonus this app has over iOS shortcuts, is the ability to use different styles and add icons etc in your QR code.

      QR code generator code from website can also expire so just make sure they stay live - had some business cards we made with them on that didn't work after 6 months.

        That’s not how QR codes work. That’s like saying the words in a book will expire and become non readable after 6 months.

        What I’m guessing actually happened was you (or the site you used) used a URL shortener or click tracker and that URL expired. Nothing to do with the QR code.

      They either force you to make an account and the QR link expires unless you pay, or lack customisation.

        i created QR Code for my Guest Wifi, App worked great without any ads, so i wouldnt call it a crappy bullshit app. Useless for most users Yes !
