Seems decent, has the faster GDDR5 version of the GT 650M. The screen is not Full HD but rather HD+ (1600 * 900).

  • Seems pretty decent for the price. Reviews seem to indicate that the screen is good, it can game quite well at medium settings, but the battery life is awful.

    • Yeah I got the i7 FHD version. Battery doesn't even last a movie (MIB III).

      • +1

Confirm that you have the latest intel hd drivers on your laptop. i5 laptops with nvidia graphics cards should have nvidia optimus which allows the laptop to run on the intel hd graphic and switch to the nvidia one while under load. On my laptop when I got it out of the box the intel hd drivers weren't installed properly and I only got 2hr battery life, I updated to the latest intel hd drivers (and updated nvidia ones too) and now my laptop properly uses the intel driver while not running 3d applications. I can get 5-7hrs of battery now, it's quite awesome.

  • Seems like a good deal. but if anyone is really interested in this laptop, for $999, the Australian Dell Outlet has one with i7-3610, 6gb RAM, 1TB 5400rpm HD, blu-ray, 1920x1280 screen, Nvidia GT650M 2gb. It's listed as new, but only 1 year warranty. DFO-1892387IP

    • link plz~

      • last time I bought a laptop(says new) from there & it broke down after 1 month of use,
go through the warranty hassle & the second laptop returned to me is all scratched up,
amazingly it stand for another 6 months & broke again!!!

I would suggest avoid these repaired/used/problems laptop from their outlet! :-(

        • I thinking of buying a Dell or an Asus. Are dell usually bad quality or just the dell factory outlet?

        • @orange123, Dell is not usually bad quality, I'd say it's those returned products that stock at outlet is bad quality/repaired units.
