This has been the same "sale" price pretty much all year long. OW, JBHifi, Amazon - they all have been either rotating or in sync with their sales, keeping it this price for a long, long time.
Not sure why this is downvoted. It is exactly what this comment says. This is not a BlackFriday deal. You’d think after a year of 10th gen iPad and even the release of USB-C iPhone the price of this lightning variant would go down, but na the same “deal” price as always

Only Apple Pencils have pressure sensitivity (thick and thin lines depending on pressure) on the iPad. If you don't need that you can look at cheaper pencil options.
