Yeah SA has weird laws around giveaways compared to every other state. Any value over $5k and the business has to apply for a major trade promotions license and jump through a bunch of other hoops. It ends up just being easier to exclude SA.

They're ok, no monthly account keeping fees is the best bit.
They used to be known as CUA, and Credit Union Australia prior to that. Also used to have a large presence here in the Illawarra which has been whittled down to 2 or 3 branches now.
they're my bank; have found them good. owned by members.
They have a HISA which is OK and a pretty good account for kids.
