The usual 1000:1 for IPS panels. The unit Ratings reviewed measured around 800:1 though.

Pick your poison. The LG has terrible contrast and black level. The Samsung has average pixel response (motion blur).
Been using this monitor for about a year now, seems pretty nice can't really fault it on anything was a MASSIVE upgrade from my 10 year old 21". Havn't used anything higher end so not much to compare with but very happy. Fantastic price!

Contrast is garbage, but everything else on these LG Ultragear monitors are amazing for gaming.
If its close to the GP850, you got yourself the monitor bargain of the decade.(profanity) SAKE been checking this everyday the 1 hour its posted im away doing work then having lunch and completely over by the time I get back, what a (profanity) joke
I feel pretty much the same way.. been waiting for one of these to go on sale for ages to use as a second monitor.

Hopefully, you all have a better experience with LG Ultra gears than I did. I Had a 32GR93U-B which failed after a month and its replacement failed after a month.

Bought this just during the deal and is no longer turning on. Was told to take it to a service center.
What's the contrast like on these? I have a Samsung with nearly identical specs and the black levels are poo. 😒
