The plumbed version is also on sale but not as much of a saving, but a preferable fridge imho.

Awesome fridge. Bought this fridge last year in November 2022 from ebay via The Good Guys. Received about $174 cash back from Shopback. Total out of pocket around $1600

If you have ebay plus this fridge can be bought on ebay for $1699 using code Top6nov. Don't forget 4% cash back from shopback. Total out of pocket around $1632 after cash back

        Nice!

Forgot about the 15% off TCN card.

For anyone interested, Just wait a few more days till 22/11/2023 when the 15% TCN card is available at Coles. Then use the TCN card to get this fridge at The Good Guys. Total out of pocket should be $1529 after 15% TCN card. Hopefully The Good Guys will throw in a few hundred dollars of StoreCash, which will bring down out of pocket even more.

        • When you buy TCN card you can convert them to GG straightaway and will it be applicable for both GG store and online purchase? pls advise. Thanks

          • @toyapple9: There are several TCN card, make sure you buy the "TCN Home" as this includes all the stores below. When you buy the physical "TCN Home" card, you do not need to do any conversion, just take the card to The Good Guys store and make your purchase.

I would think you can use the TCN Home and buy online at The Good Guys as well, but I have not tried. Every TCN Home card has a series of number, I would assume you just input these numbers online during checkout at the Good Guys.

For LG side-by-side, the space size shoud be checked properly. This model's height is 1790mm. Door and body are 1790mm unlike other brand.
Other brand has 1790 for door and 1750~1780 for body. So,if the space has 1790mm height, need to buy LG french door or other brand's side-by-side. I also want to buy this model. Unfotunately my speace has 1790 height. So, I can buy french door. LG french door has 1750~1780 height for body and 1790 for door.

  • Hmm fridges are a lot more confusing than I expected.. Is there really any difference between this and the GF-L700PL besides plumbed vs non-plumbed? Seems to be a big price difference..

I managed to get the GF-L700MBL in the LG deal - but interesting seeing very similar fridges going on sale for the same price - while GF-L700MBL/GF-L700PL are holding price much higher at retail..

    • technically, GF-L700PL is a french door and GS-N635PL is a side by side, although this looks like a french door + non-plumbed + lesser overall capacity, and yes french doors are still pricey

      • L700PL is plumed model. For LG french door models, the biggest size with non-plumed dispenser is 506L (L570PL). Bigger models require the plumbing. I'm seeking this model (N635PL) and B590PL (with no dispenser). But, I think N635PL doesn't fit in my place due to height.

        • Ohh thanks! Didn't notice this was side by side.. That explains it.

  • I want to buy this but my fridge wooden cavity height is 1790. GG sales people says best to go for fridge of 1720 height to have proper ventilation. Can any oz friend who had been in similar situation advise on this?

    • I'm in the same boat. Our height is also 1790. So, we have two optiosn: buying LG french door or buying other brand.
LG French door has 1787~1790 for door and 1750~1780 for body. I think no 1720 height model for side-by-side or French. Our old one has 1740 height. So, I'm seeking GF-B700PL (665L) french door model. For 1790, all LG side-by-side models don't fit.

      • Thanks mate. Visited GG yesterday and now for my size dimensions, I am thinking of buying one of these HRF580YHC & GF-8590MBL. They are 1775 height from the door hinge but fridge back body after that is around 1750 so they seems to be good option because for me any fridge will be little out in front due to fridge cavity depth is not sufficient.

        • I also considered GF-B590MBL (without water/ice dispenser) and GF-L570MBNL (with non-plumed dispenser). But, we want bigger capacity. So, we're looking at GF-B700PL.

  • if you're able to go to brisbane, looks like you can get it cheaper at https://www.smartelectronicsqld.com/product/lg-gs-n635pl/ at $1,599
    pickup only.
reckon someone will price match that?
