So far I've only been successful a few times, though admittedly I fill up at other places too.
Often when I try to redeem, the particular item I want is out of stock, like this week's tic tac. None at all.

That's good to hear. And my store is not even a small one.
You fill up your car nearly every day?
I redeem something nearly every week and pretty much always get the item I want.
The only time in recent memory that I couldn’t was because it was a tiny store that never carried the product, so I went to my regular store on the way home from work and got it.
