Need Help Buying Cheap Router for nbn FTTP Connection

My modem stopped working and I am looking for a cheap replacement, having a quick look around I have 2 different modems in mind.

TPLINK TL-WR841N for $37
https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B01GRHXRXG/ref=ox_sc_ac…

‎WAVLINK WL-WN532A3 for $37.50
https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B0C6QFCDX5/ref=ox_sc_ac…

I am particularly keen on the wavlink modem however I'm I have no clue if it is NBN compatible and there is no info or reviews on it that I can find. My connection is a NBN 50/20 FTTP connection and I mainly use ethernet. However if the tplink is better or if there are better options at a simular price point please do let me know, cheers.

For that price get a second hand Telstra smart modem gen 2. Who is your provider?

Another Amazon AU option is the TP-Link Deco M5 router 1-pack $89 delivered.

    • Exetel and yeah I realize now that I need one with a Line 1/2 socket. I will have to take a look at the two you've mentioned, thanks.

Deco M5 doesn't have a phone port for FTTN. The Telstra modem does.
