As others said, Amazon Tab isn’t LTE. Also roughly equivalent Telstra points gets you $200 in Amazon gift cards, so even if Amazon one was LTE, this one is the better deal

Dont take this tablet seriously, its actually quite slow but for kids they are fine
THIS is the snapdragon variant,not the mediatek one.
It's about 40-60 percent faster in multicore speeds
Not exactly sure the street value of Telstra Points however I don't think this is a particularly good deal, given your second point.
