Been waiting for a deal on these for a while. Cheapest I found previously was $58 @ jb solutions so from what I can tell this is the lowest price ever. Have a couple already and work really well via Homekit. many complaints online regarding poor connectivity with bulbs due to no hub & wifi only but haven't experienced any issues yet both via lifx app or with homekit. suspect if your router is a bit on the bad side & can't handle a lot clients then the lack of hub will cause a bit of a headache more so than it being an issue with the bulbs

  tbh these has been a bit hit and miss, with their wifi dropping off occasionaly, enough to make it annoying. Flicking them off, waiting a bit (so it doesn't reset) and on again makes them come back up. The network on my end is pretty good. My suspicion is that if you flood the device it will get confused for a bit (think swiping the brightness slider)

    I had 1 LIFX globe a while back and the same experience. The colours and light were fantastic, but the wifi drops whilst 2 metres from the mesh point were enough for me to throw it in the storage cupboard and forgot about it

    You can change the reset functionality on the globes if you want to turn them on and off quickly without them resetting.
