  • Great deal for those looking for headphones this Black Friday with the QC SE at Amazon
  • this one is basically just the QC45 (rrp 499) but with a soft case. For me, I prefer the soft case because it’s more portable and convenient
  • if you buy it with Zip on Amazon, you get further $10 off
  • represents 45% off RRP

  • I’m wondering if prices will drop further on Black Friday or cyber Monday?

Buy now or wait a few days?

(Sorry if this is a stupid question)

    • Buy now or wait a few days?

Depends how keen you are to save $1.

If you have Prime, just keep them unopened and return them if you find a better deal

      • Or opened, tested it out and then put everything back to the box. That's how I found out MILLBERGET chair from IKEA used their own caster size by getting a general set of casters from Amazon. Put it back and returned via AusPost without any drama.

    • Bloody hell Amazon

  • Hope the deal stays on till 23rd or 24th, heading overseas again on 23rd jan gonna order some more stuff and then do a trs claim

The biggest gripe with Bose QC45 (or SE) is that you can't turn off the noise cancelling. You can only choose between transparent & noise cancelling. If you live in windy town, I would go for Sony XM4.

    • Is this legit? You cant turn noise cancelling off? Seems bizarre

      • Yea, it is really bizarre. It's not a deal breaker if you intend to use it indoors but I can't listen to music when I visit my mum in coastal town of NZ. There are many Reddit posts about this too.

  • I understand the only difference between these and the qc45 is the carry case. Is the case for these very soft and therefore pretty useless for travel?

  • Can anyone explain the difference between these and the newer Quietcomfort?

  • Thanks for posting. just about to purchase and saw the 249 price drop. Awesome.

  • Would someone be kind enough to explain the process of using these on a plane to watch movies etc through the planes entertainment system?

    I guess I buy an adaptor (https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B008F5JXA0/ref=ewc_pr_i…)

Will it just be plug & play?

Im guessing I may need to use a third object, ie my phone, to set up the bluetooth connection between the adaptor & the headphones? If so id like to set this up before the travel, & then it would be just plug & play.

  • Can you buy bigger ear pads for these?
